$120 shipped. Conus. This is great for experiments.

For sale is a H980L-800B laser. It's from Laserbtb. I don't have an LPM but the rated power is 800mw. It can burn dark objects, even leaves when focused. Leather can be burned from a foot or two away when unfocused. Goggles really are necessary. It comes with a little plug dongle and a metal pin. The plug dongle can be cut so the laser can be turned on from a distance with another switch. It comes with two metal keys. It has a shutter and adjustable focus. It is very sturdy. It comes uses one 16340 battery.
Doesn't come with IR indicator card. If I find it I'll throw it in. You need goggles that can block this wavelength.

Pros:
• Laser burns dark colored objects well
• Laser has lots of safety features
• Runs a while on batteries
• Has a long duty cycle
• Pinpoint focusable

Not interested in buying, but didn't you just buy this laser very recently? Maybe I'm going crazy?

Yeah I did but I don't use it! What a waste! Maybe someone who wants to experiment can buy it off me. Oh well. I'm really going for that jetlasers 473 30mw!

:bumpit: $115 shipped conus. This would be great for some DPSS experiments I assume.

All of the DPSS lasers we use are pumped by 808nm, not 980nm. Can't just fire random IR wavelengths into a crystal and have it work. Even then, you don't want a pointer for that sort of thing.

Good luck with the sale though!

How do they design crystals for such a specific wavelength. We're talking a few billionths of a meter lol.

Is 980nm direct diode, or some kind of DPSS IR wavelength?

FS thread pause as I noticed the tail cap has issues with the threads and am dealing with that at the moment.
