Yeah, these diodes are fun. I'll buy another 5 if you got them, Dave. I'm tired of breaking all these PHR and LPC (broke 13 out of 16 :'(... i think its my DDL drivers I'm building). I like toying around with these, if you can, just PM me your PayPal (idk if it was mentioned in this thread).
Next I may try some c-mount lol. Will wait a bit till then though, but heruscience or w/e his name is is selling pretty damn cheap lol. I just hope he doesn't run out any time soon

It is most definitely easier on the heart if you blow a $2 diode. Many of the newer members are using these to practice their building skillz inexpensively. I've got five (5) more sets of them. Then they are gone (from me) forever. I got what I needed out of the buy. I won't be doing it again.

thanks Dave powering it with a strong 58mA, stuck a heat sink on it too as it was getting hot after a minute or so. hehe

That's a real nice price. I remember driving some of those DL-6353TLs (the 7mW ones) with about 50mA for about 15mW. Seemed to work just fine. Those ended up costing me about $3/ea.

I've think I've come a long way in the past month!!!
The collection is growing quickly. Not to mention the spending....
I need another FIX... this time a little more cost effective.
Please PM me shipping for 5 - 635nm to Canada.
Any other suggestions? Cost effective?
I like the different colours but not ready to pay the big $$$ yet...
P.S. I finished the dorcy kit from you on the weekend used a PHR instad of the 6X (Saving it for jayrobs mini chrome) love the colour!

You need to build a burning red now You can pick up an LPC sled, a Rkcstr driver, and an AixiZ for around $30 (plus shipping) or you can buy a complete module from me for $37, shipped. Then all you would need is a heat sink and 6-12V.
