You will have a problem selling this item to the members here...
And here are some reasons why....

1) this is your first post
2) You have not even introduced youeself
3) we don't know if you are legit or a scammer
4) on ebay you only 74 feed backs
5) you need to build a reputation on LPF before you gain
ANY credibility...

Hey Jerry!
Thanks for your concern. I agree, I just looked at my number of posts on LPF and was shocked to find this was my first! :D

Well, In my defense. I'm a fairly well known member on Photonlexicon and have had MANY dealings with people over there. In fact, some of these members are also members on LPF and I'm sure thay'd vouch for me. I've even communicated with you, Jerry, a couple times on PL.

As for introductions, I agree I should do that. As for my ebay feedback, It is what it is. However I have sold many other laser and electronic items and have 100% positive feedback.

If anyone doesn't feel comfortable buying from me and is TRULY interested in my item. I'm sure we can come up with a compromise to put your mind at ease.
Thanks!

Nice setup there, but most of the value is in the chiller and PSU - I have a 60w Coherent diode brick and can't sell it for $175....

Hey Jerry!

On the contrary, I think your post was more than appropriate. After I posted my "First Post" here on LPF I realized, "Yikes! this is my first post!?!? Boy, that's not going to go over well..." I could have swore I posted here before but I guess I didn't. Your post helped me open up a little more and not look like a total noob or a scammer. Also, I plan on posting here more often. This site has really turned into a great resource and have been seeing all the really cool stuff you guys have been coming up with. I originally blew off LPF as the typical "Pointer Jockey" "Kewl Kid" site but it has become much more than that.

Hey Mario!
I also know you from PL. Your the guy that had that sweet old school argon that Bob has now, right? Yeah, I have a lot of experience in marketing.... Now, I may not sell this laser this time around but I'm aware what it's worth to me and I'm more than sure I can get it, I usually do!

Think of it this way, How many times have you seen one of these diode arrays available as a turn-key package??? My guess is 0. How many people on ebay have a video of their laser actually running? Very few. I personally like buying lasers and equipment for cheap, fixing them up, build controllers or interfaces for them, playing with them for a while and then selling them.

Obviously this laser set is not for everyone. Surely not for the typical housewife who needs an implement for cutting roses. :D Nor for the individual on a budget with decent electronics skills. This set is for the person with a lot of loose cash that just wants a kick ass turn-key laser. Could you get all these components separately for cheaper.... Sure you could! But then you'd have to pay for separate shipping, assemble and hope it works. :p When it's all said and done, $2000 is a great price for what you really get. For example, I had to invest about 15 hours and $150 just to get the chiller working again. Here's the thread on the chiller rebuild. Thermotek Chillers Exposed! (TEC Question)

What the hell is a milliwatt! :p:p:p:p

Oh come on!, The fun doesn't begin until you break at least 10W!!! :eg: :san:

Yeah, Not cheap but sure is fun to play with. Oh, and eye protection is a MUST! These IR regions are deceivingly EVIL.

Size does count!
I'm 6'2". This CV laser is bigger than it looks.....
