Hey everyone!

I am in need of money. Sadly I am going to have to find a new home for the Hexagon that I got from rhd. Before the laser was shipped to me (About the middle of February), RHD measured a peak of 602mW.

Im asking $225 OBO. Shipping is included as long as you are located in the lower 48 states of the US. If you live outside the conus it will be $220.00 + shipping cost.

**You will need goggles with this laser that are not included with this sale.**

For the asked price you will get the following below.

*******************************************
1. RHD Ehgemus Hexagon 635nm 602mW laser.

2. Two aw imr 14500 600ma li-ion batteries.

3. Battery spacer(non magnetic).

4. Two lenses: One Glass RED-coated 3 element lens and one Red Coated Acrylic lens. I've never used the glass len so it's in pristine condition. The current lens that will come installed in the focus adapter is a Red Coated Acrylic lens. Which is better is debatable... IMO I think they are pretty much the same over all.

5. One Leather carrying case. It closes with a zipper, the inside includes foam padding on both sides plus has four nylon straps to keep everything snug and in place.

*********************************************************

As a note I should add that I only have charged the batteries three times EACH!!!!
The run time I put on the laser does not exceed 20 minuets total! I rarely use it. It is still in mint condition - I polished it so it has a shiny chrome like finish on the cylindrical part of the host now

If you want to make an offer of have any questions at all please feel free to leave a comment below. :D

Little confused.. You've never used the glass lens but you say that they perform about the same:thinking:

He's saying that he thinks glass and acrylic lenses perform about the same, never said he used the current glass lens.

Correct! :D Many have tested performance between the two and found that they are all around the same.. I happen to have both but since I dont use this laser often I have not used the glass lens

I hope this answers your concern. RHD told me both lenses are the same I didnt conclude this from use of both lenses.

The red-coated 3-element glass, and red-coated single-element acrylic give fairly similar power readings. That shouldn't be a surprise. The acrylic's lowered optical transmission is partially mitigated by the fact that there's a single element instead of 3, and vice versa.

This is definitely old, and I am not sure if he is still selling this, as he contacted me quite a while ago offer a trade, and then never responded afterwards...
