any reason why the change from usd5 to usd8 for international shipping?

I checked the price on USPS for international shipping, its actually $13, not $10 like i thought. $55 shipped USA would cover shipping, which is about $5. Add $8 to that and that equals the international shipping.

How is international shipping $13?

I was at post office the other day, for point to point tracking the only option is EMS, afaik... that's the only option that offers paypal seller protection coverage.

Actually hope I'm wrong though:p

Lol. $13 is for no tracking. For tracking its $25 for registered mail in small flat rate box. How much did DHL come out to be?

^^^No idea, I didn't want to even find out:undecided:

Maybe i should change it to CONUS only :). Well, usually when i ship international, theres a note that goes to buyers "by paying this invoice, you agree that the shipment sent out will NOT have a tracking number and only a customs number". Lol, you're making me think that everyone could rip Jerry off for his LPM's cause he doesnt give tracking numbers..

Idk, I would be quite happy to spend less on shipping, but I don't want to get stuck with the bill. For seller protection to offer any kind of protection, there has to be a tracking number provided.

Now that you mention it, I don't remember if Jerry provided one... I do remember shipping wasn't particularly cheap, and it was very slow.

Maybe I'm being paranoid, but I've been screwed as a buyer twice... I don't feel like getting screwed as a seller even once:p

How do you get screwed as a buyer..? Was this back when paypal doesnt help buyers in SNAD cases? Jerry doesnt provide tracking numbers, only shipment numbers, I believe its similar to our Certificates of Mailing issued by USPS. Im changing the shipping costs..guess ill FORCE all international buyers to go registered.

Well, the first laser I ever ordered was priced $50 higher because of a g1 lens, and the accordingly higher output.

As I discovered later... no g1 lens, and of course the output was well shy of what was posted in the sale thread.

The second time was from the @$$hole steviediezie... bought a flashlight off of him, but it had a faulty tailcap. Sent it to him for repair... and that was it.

After that he disappeared... with people's money from the focus know group buy.

Paypal wouldn't do anything since it was well past 45 days. Though not 90.

Now, whatever the case may be, if I don't have a working product in hand within 40 days, I don't care if the world is ending, I'm filing a dispute. Also for larger purchases, I fund them through paypal and credit card, that way if paypal decides to screw me over I can do a chargeback directly through the cc company.

steviediezie..Sounds very familar. I think i lurked in a thread about that before lol. Its better if you just sent it back for refund rather than repair. And make the seller agree to it through PAYPAL DISPUTE messages, not LPF pm's :)

At the time he had a good reputation... and I bought from him twice before with no problems at all. I didn't think there was any need to go through paypal. Didn't even occur to me at the time:(

Well, now you know better. How much did you lose total? Less than $100 hopefully. Btw, any of those lasers you own "pen-sized"? Or something really small and long. Well, you get what i mean..

Total, hmm, about $135 I guess. Hard to say for sure since I did get a working laser... just underspec. Considering the g1 lens which would bring it up to spec is $60, and on the flashlight was $75.

Not sure what you mean actually... idk, I'd have to count them, but I think I have around 6-8 pen lasers.

In my sig, I list the various power lasers that I have... I don't list the same power twice though.... otherwise the green line would be much longer.

I have 405nm, 445nm and 650nm from Lazeerer in mini hosts. Also have the 100mW mini green from lazerer.com... those are the smallest lasers I own.

The smallest size is limited by the battery... has to fit a 10440 at a minimum:(

Believe me, I would LOVE to have a replica green lantern ring with a tiny green module in there pumping out 50mW of green:p

Laser tech is nowhere near that in terms of miniaturization though... and neither are batteries:(
