Up for sale are 2 800nm laser diodes each capable of 40W. These are not for the faint of heart or careless.

I paid $200 EACH for these babies but am seeing that they are NOT going for that nowadays on ebay so I'll put in the OBO in as well. I'll entertain reasonable offers.

I also have a 40A PSU that will power these up for sale as well. Asking $75 for the psu and shipping is not included on the PSU as it's 45lbs.

With the diodes I will include EVERYTHING fiber related I've got. That's fiber, plugs, connectors, colimators, EVERYTHING.

If you could get a hold of a CNC controller you could have a very nice small cutter/welder for metals. Wish I had the time and space to set something like that up, would love to be able to do what I do at work, at home and for myself lol

I'm interested in both the psu AND a diode kenom. Could you please let me know what it would cost for both + shipping to 18705? Parcel post is fine if its cheaper.

Just to clarify. I DO want the psu. I just need pricing for shipping g and what you are asking for one of the diodes.

Thanks!
Jeff

If you are wanting to pump YAG with this and then double through a KTP for 532 you will be able to, you don't need exactly 808nm to pump, you just may be slightly less efficient as 808 is the most efficient.

Actually, efficiency greatly drops off if you don't use 808nm +- 1nm.

I could pump a rod with 808 and get 4X more efficiency due to the coatings on the optics and the increased absorption. Here, its the fiber coupled feature which I really want.

Well I did say less efficient lol, I've dealt mostly with flashlamp pumped systems, but did recall pumping a YAG rod back in college with something close but not exactly 808. Many years ago lol and I didn't do a comparison study.

Dang you know how big the xtal will have to be and it will need some kind of cooling but man it would be an awesome 532 of several watts :eg:

Actually the output is really 804nm I believe. I have the datasheets somewhere on these specific diodes unless it got lost when my HDD crashed with all my data.

I'd bet that you can get it to shift to 808nm with heat, unless it goes the opposite direction.. :(

God I love that I NEVER delete any emails.

I believe the wavelength shift is a + coefficient. Does the output after the fiber have an astigmatism? Or is it very round instead?

Uhhh since it's 800nm (mostly invisible) and incredibly powerful output, the only profile I've seen on this is big bright circle.

Kind of like a flashlight if you will. Nice flood.

I do have one of teh assemblies that is bare of a BAR that you could throw one into if your incredibly good. I'd let it go for $20

Lemme post a picture of it.

So you can simply drop in a bar like those found on ebay, and the output will be coupled to the fiber? How many emitters would it need?
