FS: 405-G-1 Custom Modules - For Less!

Dave reviewed this module in a different thread that you may have seen. It has proven to be a good brass module, custom fit for the 405-G-1 glass lens...

This is cheaper than my custom 405-G-1 glass lens modification for AixiZ.

The module length is 14.5mm (not counting the lens nut) X 10.5mm in diameter.

AixiZ module - 10.9mm X 11.9 to 12mm in diameter.



I thought I would show this as an option to getting my custom AixiZ mounted lenses.

You can save money with this module, and...

* I can fit any of my heatsinks, or host/heatsink kits for this module.
(some of the smaller builds are tight on room, so the module may stick out a little farther in that case because it is longer than AixiZ, and also smaller in diameter)

The o-ring comes dry & will need a bit of silicone lubricant.
You can shorten them if your doing a tiny build.

Then you would need my custom 'AixiZ fit' 405-G-1 for a Key Chain CR2 kit...

You would need a custom fit heatsink if you got the brass module shown in the first post. Because it is smaller in diameter than the AixiZ module. It is longer as well. So it will not fit my Key Chain CR2...

i've seen these, but i figure, why not support a member of this forum, for a nice sturdy construction, and knowing the product is going to last, and fit anything i alrdy have.

It's true... most people do have builds with AixiZ modules or modules with AixiZ threads...

I feel the same way. Plus I don't like the look of those other modules.
