I just got my marbles today and they are SO COOL! I wish I would have bought these a long time ago! Just a quick question though, are the crackled marbles hollow? They seem really light for their size..

The marbles are not hollow. We were told that they have 5% uranium where 3% or less is the norm.

They are Super Bright!

Try not to drop them as they are fragile in the crackled state!

I have plenty more if you ever need any.

Oh I know they are super fragile! On one of the 3 i bought, one of the little crackled sections was gone though. It couldn't have been during shipping though, because I looked through the package and there werent any shards in there, so you must have sent it that way.

I don't remember if you got the green 1" crackles. But the 1" ones are hand made and have a "pontil" tool mark from being made.

Is that what you are referring too?

Got my package from Blord yesterday, thanks again! Also it was packaged to survive an all out war
The 405nm pen measured 41mW ^_^

I will try to post a review of the stuff this weekend when I have the time.

Glad you received your items so quickly.

You may want to try a different set of batteries in that pen. We have seen a 40mw spread in power depending on the batteries used:



I chose a pen at random this morning and installed my well used lithium batteries (On the right of above photo) came up with 69mw. The cheapo Chinese Rocket batteries are on the left put out 26mw.



Try this and if you don't see different results, WE WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO EXCHANGE IT FOR YOU! :yh: These 405's have been pretty consistent over the 50 or so we have sold so far.

It was kinda difficult to video with my phone and hold the pen lined up with the Laserbee Target...but I got it done:beer:

The above video is useless without a comparison.

Here is the LPM using the Same pen with "Rocket" batteries from China that were included with some of the 532's we sell:



As you can see it's a slow tough climb to 26mw with the cheap batteries! I moved off the Laserbee target when I repositioned the phone to show the pen. This is the "dip' in power.

Alright but I didn't know there were lithium batteries in AAA format I'll have to get me some of those now

Anyway I'm very happy with the stuff I got and even if the pen is 'only' 41mW (I don't mind, it does what I got it for ) I still think it kicks ass!

Edit: Oh and I used rechargeable Duracells for my test, maybe it goes a bit higher than 41 but it went slowly to that and stayed on it for a few seconds, that's why I say 41 but it could be even more

There are better batteries than the energizer lithiums, but our Rayovacs and the cheap Chinese Rocket batteries barely put out 1 volt new. At least the Li-FeS2 put out + 1.5 Volts and it makes a big difference in power.
