* Full backlight control
* Zeroing
* Peak power
* Run with 9V battery or a 9V AC plug pack
* 0.1mW resolution
* Real time data logging via PC
* 0.05W-3W measurement range (It can read higher & lower, but with reduced accuracy)

This unit does have a couple of defects:
- One of the fins on the heatsink is slightly bent (You can see it in the above picture)
- There are a couple small marks on the sensor where the max power density was tested. (This was accounted for in calibration)

What comes in the package:
- Fully set up & calibrated LPM. Plug n' play.
- USB cable
- 9V battery cable (battery not included) I will provide a North American 9V wall adapter for 5$ extra if desired.

Price: 125$ CND

Shipping is 22$ to Canada or the USA (tracked & insured)

Re: FS: 3W LPM w/datalogging 125$

I want to measure pens in the 10mw range and measure my HeNes in the 2mw range.
Also my multiwatt 445s.

Will this one LPM do it all?

Goes down to 50mW accurately, below that I haven't curve adjusted it because my calibration laser doesn't go that low (yet). This is the wrong LPM for HeNe's and low power pen lasers.
Multiwatt lasers and anything over 50mW works great.

Nice looking LPM...
What is the 100% response time ??

What do you mean my <3mW noise ?? Are the readings not
stable..:thinking:

Just a thought...
Why would you correct a mechanical problem like a damaged
or scorched Sensor coating in calibration....
Why not re-coat it and re-calibrate it since you are asking $$$
for it...:thinking:
What beam size and power did you use to test a 50W/cm2 Max
power density of your coating ??

Thanks Jerry :)

100% response time hasn't been measured yet, I'll measure it later today if I have time.

The readings are very stable, but when around my power supply it will pick up some noise. (Just like my laserbee 3.2W) The 3mW noise just means that when around noisy devices the readings will fluctuate up or down 3mW. It's not a problem in most cases.

The mark on the sensor is very tiny. The calibration constant didn't change because of it, I just wanted to make sure people know it didn't effect anything. I am not going to re-coat it because the coating I'm using is not easily stripped. The price of this LPM reflects the defects already.

I used a stabilized c mount IR laser diode focused down to a 3mmx2mm dot to test the max power density, after a minute at 56W/cm^2 there was a small amount of smoke. I changed the focus and tested it again at 52W/cm^2 for half an hour without damage.

Nice grab, you got a deal there.

Re: FS: 3W LPM w/datalogging 125$

I know, Since i won't be able to go out and about with my laserbee USB once it arrives i thought that since this great deal had popped up i should grab it while it was there. :)

Re: FS: 3W LPM w/datalogging 125$

Greetings,

Man, that was a good deal !
Seems I am always just a little late in catching the posts even though I scan through here daily. I guess this is a sign I should just start looking for a 5w LPM especially since hopefully soon will have a 4w+ 445nm.

Please keep me posted when you need more funds.

There will be more in a couple of weeks :) There will also be a 5W Ophir edition in a couple of weeks.
I'm planning out a quad diode 445nm lab laser with temperature and current feedback that will adjust the temperature and current accordingly to maintain stability. Then I can calibrate and curve adjust up to 4.5W on TEC LPM's.

Replied to your PM about the dual diode handheld laser.

@robmobz

Shipped it out :)

Re: FS: 3W LPM w/datalogging 125$

I've been looking for a good priced LPM with datalogging. Can you give me a shout when the new ones are available?
Thanks!

Re: FS: 3W LPM w/datalogging 125$

Will do boldar :) The PCB will be arriving soon.

Re: FS: 3W LPM w/datalogging 125$

I'm interested on the new ones for 150$ let me know when they arrive :)

Re: FS: 3W LPM w/datalogging 125$

PCB is on the delivery truck at the moment :) They should be available soon.
