Like the title says - this is a:

-330mW 405nm LG 6x with adjustable glass AR coated lens in a rominsen host. Operates on a single 3.6v lithium. Battery, charger, 110/220vac adapter, carry pouch, dust cap, focus stablizing cap, and , metal lens nut for the glass lens included. Also has a beefy aluminum heatsink.

I bought this laser from Wannaburn, a trusted member here. You can find the original auction here: http://laserpointerforums.com/laser_pointer_forums_3/forum/showthread.php?t=22555

Although I did not win the auction, I made a deal with him to build another. The laser is solid and in "like new" condition, with around 1hr of run time.

Also included are a pretty much brand new set of BR goggles which can be found here: http://store.oemlasersystems.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=8_10_18&products_id=54

As everyone can see, I am not know around this forum so I would be looking for a trusted member to help me with the sale. I would be willing to ship everything to this member, let him/her test the laser for mW accuracy and ship the items directly to the buyer.

I am looking to get $350 for everything.

Thanks

If you need a "Miidleman" for the sale, I'd be happy to help out and will test and graph the laser output for you (I'm in Wisconsin, BTW)

I appreciate that! Let me see if I get any interest and I'll let you know...

330mW out of a 6x diode? That seems awful high, even with superior optics.

What current is this running at?

Don't know the specifics as I have a limited knowledge when it come to building these things. A member here that won the original auction (and exact build as mine) "laser83" might be able to help you answer the question...

I forgot to mention I bought this with a 1 yr warranty included. Not sure if Wannaburn would still honor it, but thought I would mention it...

If the warranty is included you could email him and ask. PM me for the email I don't know if he wants that shared everywhere.

I never checked the mA, mainly for the reason that I don't touch what already works (his driver is wrapped up too better to leave it alone). The output was a steady 330 to 340mW as I recall. It was a hell of a burner, and had an effective 4 to 5ft range.

I have plans for an 8X (if I ever get the time) but this is the next best thing.

I am interested in a semi-high powered Green (~200mW) - maybe I can work something out with someone who has one to sell?

My guess-timate would be ~250mA

Very close sir ;) IIRC I set his to 230mA. Out of the 10 or so 6x diodes I had, I put the most efficient in the handhelds. I was shocked myself when it hit 300mW let alone when it kept climbing.

I would have responded to this thread much sooner to support Paul with his sale, but have a new addition to the family and havent logged in, in what seems to be years.

Paul I replied to your PM, but will send you another with some options to get you a nice green.

The warranty still stands on the laser, parts and labour on all items in that package. That includes the battery, charger etc.
