That was actually exactly my problem. The laser was focused for burning at about 6" as opposed to infinity(I always try to leave my lasers focused to infinity or slightly past). By the time I clicked it it off... too late:p

It is hard to resist the urge to just jump in and play with your new toy. Anyway that is why I started posting this as it really is a great visualization to help keep from burning it.:beer:

You didn't leave the Laser on the Thermopile Sensor very long...:thinking:

Jerry, maybe you can answer this since you know the LPM... is there anyway I can run the laserbee software with it?

One of the greatest benefits of the 2.5USB is the ability to log the output.

This LPM is probably fantastic for getting a peak reading, but one of my own personal priorities with an LPM is the ability to log...

IMO a peak value is great, but doesn't tell the whole story. Of course that's just me:p

I am pretty sure if you get the data logging option on this meter it will do just that. I think it is setup for it regardless but you would have to have the software and cables.

Cables certainly aren't a problem...

For the moment the bigger problem is my wallet.

I guess back to the drawing board:p

I would need the serial number of that 3.2W LaserBee II.
If it was bought with the Data Logging Option then it will
work with our EagleEye software.

If the Data logging option was not purchased then it needs
to be sent back to our shop for a Firmware upgrade and
re-calibration. It is doable for this model of LaserBee.
