I'm sure the current reading is not accurate. I tested it prior to hooking in the diode with a 1 ohm resistor. after hooking in the diode I fired it up. I'm sure it was at 390ma-420ma but after it is hooked to the diode there really was no way for me to measure, so I just guestimated.

I would guess it must have been more current after you connected the LD. No matter. The end result is awesome! In fact, IMO, that barrel/driver design, is the HOTTEST thing out there right now! I can't wait for my barrels. I hope to get a couple of lavadrive2's as well. I believe I should be getting a lavadrive2 with my second barrel. I know I paid you an extra $20 bucks to just give me every possible upgrade...

:) yep and you'll get 5 different colored aperture caps and 5 different colored tailcaps and every possible upgrade that there is!!! lol.

When it comes time for the barrels to be sent out, will we be discussing this again?

Sorry about hijacking the thread, but since the unit is sold, I don't figure there is any harm.
