Yeah, thanks for the review Pman :) and the +1
I had to read your last post over again though, I got confused when you referred to both me and the other seller as "seller" :p

Also, on the thought of the wooden thing, maybe i'll just put the diode in sideways so it shines directly onto the wood insides... It'll burn through eventually right?

Those are obviously also coming from China also as they show at least 17 days shipping time to US. Looked back in my Amazon history and looks like I never ordered from them so I've got no testing on them. Sounds very familiar though and I know QQtech comes up in an ebay search. I may have purchased from them but unfortunately for my ebay stuff I only wrote down mw and not sellers name (I keep a notebook list of all my units).
Ebay seller is "21buyinhere" and that recommendation came from hak after I couldn't figure out who I had ordered way over spec units from before since ebay no longer holds a long history of purchases.
Wanted to give a try to what the seller calls "Ultra Powerful High-tech Solid 5mw Green Laser Pointer Pen 532nm Best-Selling!" to see if there's any difference between them and the 3 pack 532s. Ordered 2 yesterday.

Good luck on stability from any 532nm. Have very few "stable" greenies. You find one, keep it:)

Seperated the ebay part of the quick review a bit so it's hopefully not so confusing. Was just trying to make a quick comparison with something others are probably familiar with.

Pman, you can get a long history of purchases form ebay........

my ebay>purchase history>change "show" to 'archived' instead of default of 'recent'>select the year you believe you purchased it in and there you go :)

i believe they only track back to 2011 right now but still long enough

Dangit, I'll take a look.

The problem is somehow ebay is missing my purchases from January 1st thru 2/15.
I've ordered over specs in 2012 from a couple others but it looks like they are no longer allowed to sell them.
See "valueoffer" as one other one but can't remember how over spec they were so can't recommend

Edited quick review above with "Tested IR is about 10%. Ebay pens are generally much higher."

Looks like the second one will be arriving today (expected to be <mw than the first one).

If the other pen arrived, I'll report back on it when I get home. Most likely a few hours from now.

Trying to decide whether to add a focusing adapter to one of them.

Hate to disappoint but the second one is exactly the same at 92mw:) Nice that they are consistent.

To put this into a common perspective with the 532nm, decided I would get a set of the ones form amazon that Zathras linked to above. They ended up being on par power wise with ordering almost 2 sets from china (although you will have to wait a couple weeks for those vs. a couple days with amazon). Still a very good deal especially if you are in the states and realize how overspec they are. Saw someone put up a review on them that specifically stated that they are way overspec so I would say that the days are numbered for this seller. If you need some quick, easy way to go in the states.
The 650nm was 106mw, 405nm was 77mw and the 532nm was 56mw. However, once again as I stated above, the cheopo 532nm tend to have alot of IR. Almost 50% was IR. Many others have measured the IR content on the Fastech modules and all that I've seen appear to be only around 10%:)
Almost always get one of the cheapo 3 pack pens from wherever I buy from to end up testing over 100mw. I would say that the average for all my cheap 405 and 650 pens is around 90mw. 532nm average is around 50-60 but that is non-filtered.

Ordered a couple of the fastech modules and also ordered the 3 pack million accessories that Wannaburn mentioned plus a seperate 532 pen from them also to test. Weird how one day you can order from amazon and they have them to ship and the next day they are shipped from china. The million ones will come friday from the states.

Seems as though this thread has gone dead but here's the results of the millionaccessories purchase.
2 532nm pens about 20 mw lower than usual at 30 and 44mw, 405nm was 82mw and the 650 was really low at 8mw (usually they are around 100mw).
