See, that's why I only dabbled in it and built a few. It is a great wonder for me to build lasers, and my method has been narrowed down to a science. I've built several in the past, and I thought I would build a few and try to sell some. But not expected, I can so easily turn up the pot and have these babies shooting out 145mW and sell them for the same price, but to me that's not very cool because the new owner WILL need to replace the LD depending on the amount of use it gets probably no longer then 10-20 hours of use on it MAX. That's why, If I'm gonna sell these bad boys, it's better they last for their new owner, FOREVER! I did complete my 4x/6x blu-ray build using same host, and that I believe is shooting out around 150-160mW and I'm sure people will be expecting 200+mW from those LD's, but why push them to their limit? Only to kill them ASAP? :
