Ehgemus hosts also amaze me, but I built another 445 last week so I dont really need this one anymore. The driver (flexdrive) is set to 1200mA which should be outputting around 1W. You could easily increase the amperage on the driver and get a greater power output if you want. I tend to keep things on the safe side. The only thing wrong with this laser is the diode windows is dirty. However this is only noticeable if the laser if completely out of focus and does not affect the actual power of the laser. I will be including an 18650 battery. Aixiz glass lens included. Price is $205 shipped. $200 if payment is sent as a gift.

It seems reasonable to me (assuming it was built well)... even with the dirty diode window. This is a great host... good luck with the sale :beer:

Asking price is $250. I've seen several others sell for this price or greater without g-1 lenses

Just curious, where have you seen others sell for greater or this price? Ive seen the 1.6W Ehgemus PEN sell for $260..with Aixiz lens.

I would be interested if it was around $150. I think $250 is quite expensive...

I'm pretty sure weidmark sold a couple like this, but his had dual flexdrives

Yeah, times are though. There are a lot of cheap 445nm lasers for sale. It will take someone with some taste to buy an Ehgemus host 445nm. Most people come here and just want the cheapest >1W burner they can get. I know, I sold my Ehgemus host 445nm for $250 with a G-1 lens.

This is just a suggestion, but when I sold mine, I gave a choice and listed it differently. It was $200.00 for the laser with an AixiZ lens or $250.00 with the G-1 lens.

This isn't just a plain old 445nm shoehorned into a flashlight host, this laser has class. Good luck with your sale!!! For the right person, it is worth that price. :beer:

EDIT: It might help to let people know that with an Ehgemus host, the heatsinking is the best!!!. The LD is pressed right into the heatsink, no AixiZ module. And they way it's designed, the complete host IS the heatsink.
