I don't know what is going on with these. I made them to fit a host I already have...

I normally won't make heat sinks unless i have the host it's going to be going in.

If any of you have too much trouble with them just let me know. I can get you postage to send it back and then refund what you paid for them. I would definitely want them back though because they can be turned down a little smaller to be fit into the trustfire kits.

these are made assuming the o-ring will be inside the ring that screws on top. the o-ring allows a tolerance so that the ring can be screwed down all the way and still hold the heat sink, otherwise it would be almost impossible to get it perfect enough to screw down all the way and hold the heat sink in place. especially since every host is a tiny bit different.

Maybe the tolerances on the Auroras are not that tight, and very a bit from host to host.

The first batch i ever made, i made 8 heat sinks which fit into 1 host perfectly, and only 3 of those 8 heat sinks fit into other hosts

Yeah good ol chineese quality on these. However Im sure the aluminum foil trick will work just fine. This should be better for heat control than my aluminum heatsink (even though like 1/8th in taller)

Mine HS is just a tad loose as well, but it's nothing I can't take care of. I'll stick a slightly thicker O-ring in the front.

Hank:

Jayrob makes heatsinks for the C6. Check with Him now that Moh is out.

Jayrob is 4 times more expensive than Moh. I think I'll stick with an aluminum one from Survival Laser (that is unless Moh is willing to make more copper ones :) )

Glad to see your getting the Cu turning down now, it's not easy is it !
Copper is one of the hardest metels to work, it likes to fight you and be
a little bitch and grab your tools and pull them out of the holder
And at other times it refuses to take a good finish, yep it's one of the hardest metels to work with no doubt !

peace All...

Since the heatsink I got didnt fit very well and I didnt want to wrap it in foil, I found it makes a great focus ring. Also with it set to infinity it sits snugly against the aluminum heatsink I have giving a longer run time due to a larger area to absorb and dissipate heat.
