I've run these upwards to 5 minutes before it starts getting warm to the touch. Now I don't recommend that long I recommend about 3 minutes max.

I believe he told me it runs on cr123a 3.0v cells

usually I do not include a battery. Made that mistake once..... Ooooh. scares me just thinkin bout it. the damages, the cost! So no I don't include the batteries.

actually with this it doesn't matter you CAN use rechargable cr123's.
