Hi Guys,

Up For Sale is a 1.2W O-Like Tactical Blue 445nm Laser:gun:

This is the same laser sold by O-Like:

Tactical 1.2W Blue 445nm Laser

This laser runs off of one protected or unprotected 18650 battery.

It is by far one of the heaviest and most solid hosts I have ever seen.

It features double o-ring seals, which make it at the very least weather resistant. I have never tried putting it to the test in water, but I have no doubt that with oiled o-rings this laser is waterproof.

Second collimating/focusing attachment with the waterproofing lens:

As production lasers go, this is far superior to any other chinese laser I have handled, including the Arctic, Rifle, and Cyber hosts. In terms of quality I would recommend it over any of those.

Please keep in mind though that the O-Like claimed >1.1W is raw optical. Meaning raw output from the laser diode before any other lenses, including the collimating lens.

With the standard collimating and waterproofing lens, this means virtually none of the lasers o-like is selling, will reach 1.2W.

I thought that was bullsh*t:mad: So I contacted Susie and after exhaustive arguments back and forth, o-like did send me a second collimating/focusing attachment.

Without the waterproofing lens this laser has peaked as high as 1186mW, on a fully charged 4.2v AW IMR battery, with this setup it is a True 1.1W+ laser:D

I am selling this laser with both the waterproof and non-waterproof attachments. They are very easy to swap out, and require nothing more than pliers a cloth to prevent scratches to the anodize finish, and some elbow grease:)

I will install the attachment of your choice prior to shipping.

This package will feature;

1 x O-Like Tactical 1.2W Laser
1 x Additional focus adapter.
2 x Lanyards for easier removal of the battery tailcap.
1 x Fully charged, rechargeable 18650 battery.

This a powerful laser, I will not sell it to anyone who does now own proper safety goggles.

Price:
$240 $235 $220 with FREE Express Shipping with tracking anywhere in the US.

:thanks: for looking.

Seriously nobody is interested ?
Its a very good laser !

I know... I'm confused. I mean from o-like it will take 2-3 weeks at a minimum to ship for $227, and will not include a second optical attachment, so will not be even close to spec. Even with expedited shipping from o-like, with order processing and everything, it will take two weeks at a minimum, and that will run $241:undecided:

^^^Well, I'm in no rush to sell this one. Hopefully someone who's doing research on that laser from o-like will see the thread and take the better/sure deal I'm offering.

But yeah, it seems like 445 sales have absolutely tanked:(

they are just so available now.... im frankly sick of them id rather see more people showing 405 and 660 builds.. but now with the 635 diodes this place might get a little more interesting:eg::eg::eg::eg::eg::eg:

I have a question : If i am using this 1.2W 445nm laser, must i wear goggles even if i am pointing to something else and not myself? Is there anything harmful that emits from the blue laser that will harm my eyes unknowingly?

It's tricky to say exactly where and when, but the only place I myself truly feel safe is when I'm just shining it into the sky.

If you were in a huge room with black walls, a black ceiling and nothing else reflective in it, then I'd say yeh. (But when does that ever happen lol)

Wear your goggles all the time inside and especially when burning :D

Edit: IMO they are ridiculous levels of output for a handheld, and normally a low power handheld is still great for seeing the beam and having fun with.

However seeing as I have googles for all common wavelengths then I deem it safe to use them.

Well, I highly doubt the laser you get will do anywhere 1.2W, but even 900mW+ is a lot of power.

What Misanthrope said is correct...

Also why would you point at yourself?

The idea of goggles is to prevent accidents, by their very nature accidents are unpredictable.

Lastly... look up blue light hazard... 445nm is especially dangerous. Personally I never look at the dot of any 445nm laser over 100mW.

Re: FS: 1.2W O-Like Tactical 445nm Blue Laser $220, Shipped

:bumpit: Price drop to $220.

That's less than what o-like charges, and for a guaranteed laser, that will be shipped out next day.

This laser has been used more for LPM tests that anything else, with total use time under half an hour.
