This is ideal for running high power laser diodes or LEDs that have a relatively low forward voltage. It would also be good for high current charging of LIPOs or supercaps, or any other application in this voltage and current range you can think of.

Judging from the IC date codes, this was made either 1980 or 1981.
Manufacturer: Kepco (Name brand in its day)
Model number: ATE 6-25M
~5x8x21 inches
~29 pounds.
Verified clean on an oscilloscope on power up, power down, and pot adjust in both voltage and current modes.
Tested to output a full load of 150W.
10-turn pots on both voltage and current.
Rated for 0.3mV RMS ripple voltage or 8mA RMS ripple current.
Can be internally rewired for 100VAC, 208VAC, or 230VAC if needed.
Adjustable over-voltage protection.
Optional remote-sensing feature allows voltage regulation at the load (to eliminate the effect of voltage drop on the leads)
Optional remote-programming of both voltage and current by either a resistance or a voltage.
Analog readout, unfortunately. If more accuracy is desired, leads can be added to the internal current shunt and read with a regular voltmeter.
Manual available here

I'm happy to answer questions and offer support on this, or any other bench supply.
