Why do you keep repeating that last sentence its like your telling them what their doing is wrong.... i am confused.
I was actually thinking about getting in on this offer because I am building a scanner and my laser is 12mm below the galvos and I am trying to raise the beam up plus it does seem trollish it say your only doing this to scavenge up the pennies …. so far I am getting a piece of aluminum but am wondering if this is going to be accurate enough ….. Back to why I was going to buy but so far am not is because I do not remember where to get the things that hold the mirrors so you can angle them up and then parallel to the bread board….. If you could help me out on a whole set (mirrors and mirror adjusters) then I would be looking to buy such a thing maybe if my peace of aluminum doesn't work out as were talking 10% loss here and that’s about 160mw.
Yes I had been to your sight but this is my first scanner and I was un sure of what I needed I have been trying to read up on all this stuff on PL and so far have concluded the best solution is a .5 in spacer under the laser but if that doesn't work out what is it exactly I need as your to links their go to the same thing. And what's an angle bracket look like?
could these be cut into disks?
... or are they used as squares on the spirograph?
*confused*
Bahahaha..see what I mean.
Your new medz dont work Pat. I'd get a refund if I was you.
Those prices are indeed high for such tiny mirrors. I too remember your smug attitude with which you referred to yourself and the members here.
Go on ebay and search "LCD projector parts" - you will find lots of projectors which are non-fuctional for various reasons, and can snag them for as low as $20 shipped to your door. Inside you will find a myriad of high end optics grade components, AR coated lenses, dichroic mirrors (which work very well for combining lasers btw) fans, and all kinds of fun bits. Oh, and not to mention several large FS mirrors.
