hey dave, are those laptop sticks? if so i need them, or at least 1 of em, could you maybe link to a page with some info on it? or PM me about one.

My laptop can handle up to a gig (my new crap-top i call it) i got it for free out of an empty apartment from one of the maintenence men in my community, traded him a 30mW green laser module for it, he didnt need the laptop, but he always sees my lasers, and wanted one to show his kids so we traded. it's a pretty good lap-top for it's age though.

P4 2gHz Intel Celeron

160gb HDD
and built in BlueTooth and WIFI, and internal 3G support (i hacked that in there myself, simple USB tap)

I could REALLY use one.

I will pay you shipping and a lil extra for your gratitude, I'll take them both if you wanna sell them right now

I have a bunch of ram out of some 3-4 year old IBMs desktops/laptops. If this is in demand I can always send some out for trades or cost of shipping. When I get home Ill digg up and see what I have.

Wow - you got a good deal. A laptop worth hundreds for a green module worth like $20

yeah, it was AWSOME, i almost cried lol. the maintenence men get to keep whatever is left behind from apartments where people got evicted. and they left the laptop because of two reasons i think

1) it had no charger (easy fix, had one at my local KT&C computer shop for $15)
2) windows wasnt loading, so i just popped in my Windows XP BLACK disk (A super hacked and pre-loaded version of windows XP SP2) comes with microsoft office pre-registered, EVERY essential app you could ever want, WINRAR, FILECRACKER, UNLOCKER502, you name it, it's pre-installed. and it is modified to use LESS system memory than microsoft has set to default. this thing is a 2gHz Pentium 4 yeah, but its only got 64MB of graphics ram, so the hacks done on XP BLACK work around that, allocating PHYSICAL memory to graphics memory in an on the fly balance type of way (it allocates processing power when needed, where needed on demand, no interaction needed from the user) so for $15 i got a Compaq Presario 2100 (LOADED VERSION)!! best day EVER!!!! and the best part was, it was totaly legit! Tim (maintenence man who found it) was gunna throw it out along with some old PC towers, so i said hey, you want a green laser right? he sais yes, and i say well hey, i got one at the house you can have (he's using it, and a star-diffraction grating for holloween) and he gave me all the junk, i traded one crappy tower for the $15 charger, so i actually didnt spend a dime! well... yeah i did, the cost of the module + shipping.

But yeah, i got wicked lucky.

So thats why im here hunting RAM!

Dave - are these the short sticks? (Laptop) or the long sticks? (Desktop PC)
If it's laptop i'll buy em BOTH! ^_^ not afraid to pay a bit extra either, i could really use at least one of them.
