Fiber optics for experiments

I scored a huge load of fiber optics on craigslist. If anyone would like some nice NOS PMMA fiber optic fiber PM me with what you need and we can work something out. I have several different gauges up to 3/8" (single fiber).

I have a couple miles of 2mm unclad fiber that I'm letting go for $75 per 250 meter roll.

I'm not relly interested but it may help you and everyone else out later down the line. Do you happen to know what these optics and fibers are coated for and if they are single mode or mhltimode fibers? I figure most if not all will be coated for IR. I also figure you probably don't have much if any info on it all either (which is OK of course). It just helps arouse interest if there actually is some data on them.

It's all lighting grade PMMA plastic fiber. Several different thicknesses from 0.5mm up to 3/8" in single fibers and several thick bundles as well. I've got a kilometer or so of what I think is 0.5mm fiber with black cladding to keep everything but the tip invisible.
