You know, people will hate me for saying this Moh, but what you really SHOULD do, is....

...Raise your prices.

You'll make more money per order, and you'll get fewer orders. That's money you can use to help cover your schooling, and that's less time at the lathe to take you away from it.

I schooling is paid for 100% already :D

...except for about 8k in student loans from community college :(

but, i did raise my prices :) they are $8 and not $5 like before.

I have to make up for spending $700 on my new toy

It's an authentic AR-15 bottom, with a .22 LR upper receiver. Now i just have to save up another $550 and get the 5.56 upper receiver and then i'll have a deer rifle, and my zombie plinker

I hope that's an airsoft :) Unless they teach you to kill people and not give them medical cure

I don't think it's an airsoft. USA the only place in the world where even the EMTs are armed. :D

lol no it's not an airsoft. I'm not aware of any airsoft gun that costs $700. (that's including the vertical grip, single point tactical sling and red dot sight)

Examining that picture carefully, can't see anything to take exception with. It looks like a pretty well put together unit. Except...

.22 uppers can be finicky. Have you put a few hundred through it, to see if it ejects and feeds reliably?

i've put over 500 rounds through it so far and had 2 failure to feeds.
it seemed like it was the clip though, as the clip was full and having a hard time pushing all the rounds up.

but that being the only mishaps, i think that's great. 99.6% reliable isn't too bad at all.

Not too shabby at all. Of course if you are going to have a failure, that's at least the best kind you could have.

I really need to get something like that one of these days. My gun collection, although nothing exotic, is nearly as large as my laser collection.

I can't believe you're leaving. Your hotlight was the first build I ever attempted and it got me started on my own self builds. :cryyy:

alright guys, i finished up enough heat sinks to fill all the orders.
I stopped selling them so i could catch up and then just finish them when i have time. anyone who has not gotten a shipping notification, your package will be going out on monday.

these individual orders are too time consuming so the rest will probably end up going to clif at cajunlasers.com

he's a great guy, i suggest you all check out his site.

I'm 2 months away from being done with school (not counting my 500 clinical hours to complete at the ER and on the ambulance)
I'll probably be taking up a second job at a ambulance district in a nearby city, so any time i would of spent on the lathe will be replaced with working on the ambulance (it pays better :D )
