Only because i included all these optics and IR with the modules, i had to removed them all from each sled.


I also removed the IR from the heatsink but left the pcb on, you can try to take it off and see how long it takes to do lol....

And thats all i got done today, cause the parcel came in at 3.40pm. and im still abit hungover from my b'day yesterday.

BR diode harvested with the pcb piece removed nice and cleaned ;)

took alot of time ;) but i think i can call myself a professional phr-803t dissmantler ;D ;D ;D


off to be now, its 3.02am been up doing the tutorial on havresting the 6x Sled on the tutorail page.

So that makes it 23 sleds harvested today.

One small problem is that i'm having trouble focussing the laser, when i twist the brass end cap thing instead of changing the focus it just unscrews off the plastic lense bit...

Any ideas?

I had the same problem and fixed it with a narrow strip of plumbers teflon tape to make the two pieces stay threaded together.

Wow Blu-ray that was a lot of work. I know what your talking about when you say it takes forever to get the plastic part off the pins, the most annoying sh*t ever.

Looking forward to some BR, thanks for keeping us updated.

I like to keep everyone up to date so than can see the progress and it takes off on the suspense of waiting ;)


Randomer you dont really need the top brass piece but just focus it with the brass thing screwed on, and you can change it from ontop, by using somthing to turn the axiz lense. You should be able to see where to adjust it from the top.

ok thanks for clearing that up Tyler, you see why its important you add your forum name? ;)

i have sent out acouple of modules today, with the excepetion of acouple.
Check on the 1st post for all the updates. thanks

The others will be posted monday, cause its friday night now and cant get them posted on saturday.

How long should shipping take? and is this coming in the mail or like a package that I have to be home and sign for?

laserewanabe it should be in your mail box. its only a small packaged with bubblw wrap inside.

thebucketmouse lol yeah, thats why it for $43 and not $35 lol takes alwhile to make one. and then adding the finishing touches. and sorting everything included tobe sent off. ;)
