You have a point. Hmmmmm what was i thinking.... The piece that you put the lens in seems really awkward to put the lens in and then put the attachment bit to make it focusable. So I was thinking if gluing a lens to the effect lens will work

I don't have the host with me atm. Maybe I'll post a pic of what I'm trying to say later

5mm by 5mm square AR coated lens are easier to find. Still waiting for a reply from a supplier, but it should be easier now. Once I get the host in my hand I will be able to work out a way to mount them.

So yeah! Just got the lenses Fiddy! Thanks! Hopefully you get mine today too. And yeah Probably going to abandon the idea of gluing a lens to the lens-less lens =P it will be way too far from the diode as Tommy has pointed out.

After looking at some reviews of this host, looks like you are supposed to stick a lens into the holder part and glue the focus adaptor part and use it to focus with.

Well i put my glass lens from the bottom holder of the M9x0.5mm attachment, then just use glue or thread lock Green, dont use red or it wont ever come off, and the you can turn it to focus without it comming off.

Got the lens today from Aaron also.

Bobhaha the lens they use are indeed a square lens glued into a round hole.

Just got back today.

Aaron your caps went out way before Mitch did, i think it was sent the day you sent mine. But dont know why it took so long.


As for all the PM's asking where i got these From. PLEASE don't ask because i will not tell and it often offends people to hear that.

Like i said in the original post. If your interested let me know, and if theres enough interest then i will get some in for you guys. But only if theres enough!!!

Yep I did get them in the end. Took a lot longer than expected.

Thanks Tommy =D now to long wait for the diode to put into it
