I have one used PSU for 40W CO2 laser which is not very useful to me because it works with 110 V!

Since I'm looking for a red laser pointer, then I ask, is anyone is interested in exchanging one red pointer (200-300 mW) with the PSU :)

The only thing I ask is to pay shipping costs because the PSU is much heavier than a pointer

Technical Parameters

1.Input voltage: AC110V

2.Maximum output voltage: DC 30KV.

3.Maximum output current: DC 20mA.

4.Isolation Withstand voltage: Input-output, input-enclosure: AC2000V-10mA-60s; negative pole of output connected to enclosure.

5. Protection: with well-grounded enclosure, output circuit of power supply can be open for short time (but arc between positive pole and enclosure should be avoided).

6.Response time (from time of input being available to the output current being up to nominal value): ≤1ms.

7.TTL voltage level control: effective voltage level can be high or low through setting.

8.Protection switch: for detection of cooling water, to protect laser device; or activate with enclosure is opened.

9. Laser power adjustment: (1) by adjusting the output current of power supply through resistor; (2) through PWM control (magnitude being TTL voltage level).

10. Environmental requirements: temperature (-10~ 40℃), relative humidity ≤85%.

Re: WT exchange a red pointer with a 40W CO2 PSU

The subject line had me thinking of something else. That's not a red laser pointer you're asking for, that's a red laser module. Pointers are eye "safe" and modules are anything else.

Just ask the retards at the beach. They think pointer means a green laser to point at people's eyes.... Eye safe or not :(

And yes, from title I thought you wanted to trade a red pointer for a psu lol

Re: WT exchange a red pointer with a 40W CO2 PSU

I'm sorry, I think the misunderstanding is due to a language barrier. :(

I intend "exchange" as "barter" between a red pointer and the PSU!
To elucidate, I get a red pointer from a forum member and I'm sending the PSU to him/her. :)

PS: pointer, not module...

I don't get whats so hard to understand, made sense to me the first time and still does now.

Arayan, you can get an o-like new style 200mW red for about $40 US shipped with case, batteries, and charger. Unscrew the driver, turn it up 1/6 - 1/4 turn and you have >250mW of red. These units last a long time like this, mine peaks at 302mW at that setting.

thanks so much Dustin also for the suggestion :)
but I have this unused PSU and if I can avoid spending 40$ would be better :D

I have a 210*mw rayfoss waterprooof model here.

I can say I am interested in the psu but really not interested in paying for the shipping from Italy to the US. If you should change your mind I would gladly make a deal.

Thanks,
Jeff

It's ok for me if you don't want a particularly fast shipping.
Can you post some pics of the pointer? :)
thanks

Uhm yeah I don't mind slow shipping. Its not like I will be able to use it right away anyway. I do plan to have a c02 in the future though.

Is it ok if I take some photos later? I am not currently home right now but I should be later.

I understood too Dustin. Just thought from the title that he wanted to trade his red pointer for a PSU, other than that it was clear and concise

Got my psu today! Great shape!

:thanks: ...Jeffreythe00 is a very kind guy, the red pointer is nice (with the included battery) and it's a real pleasure doing business with him :)

With the help of Realista, I discovered that the pointer sent by jeffreythe00, has under a "cardboard cover", a screw to fit a star cap...nice find :)

Thanks again to Jeff for this cool red pointer
