DX 200mw red laser packages--PRICE REDUCED!

I have 4 (four) DX 200mw red pointer packages for sale. Each package includes one pointer, one pair of UltraFire CR2 3.0v rechargeable batteries and one CR2 battery charger.

The laser pointers are brand new and were tested using a Kenometer laser power meter. Standard CR2 3.0volt batteries were used although you can purchase 3.6volt CR2's for even higher output. The peak and average power are marked on each pointer with a lable maker decal.

These will only be available to persons in the United States. There is no group buy required as I have these in hand and can ship within 24 hours of payment. Just think, you can have the awesome DX 200mw laser burner in less then a week. I am going to lower my price since the majority of members seem to think I am trying to rip them off.

$43 DX 200mw
$15 shipping through reseller
$5 UltraFire CR2's
$6 CR2 battery charger
=$69 out of pocket money

Now, take that and add what it costs me to ship and fees

$6 USPS Priority Mail
$2 box
$4 paypal fee
$10 power rating/testing of the laser
=$22 additional out of pocket expenses

$69 plus $22 is $92 total out of pocket case.

My new price is $100 even shipped to the USA. I now ask you LPF member is $8 too much to ask for my time and gas money?

Besides if you expect to pay cost then you will have to wait up to two months for a DX if you live in the states.

This forum should have members that don't dump in other peoples sales threads. If you don't like or agree with a sale then move on and don't bother posting.

Do you really want me to break down how I got my price? I will but laser members should be able to almost figure it out for themselfs. I am not making much considering the wait time required getting things from DX.

im not trying to dump on your thread but thats pretty unreasonable (im pretty sure im speaking on behalf on most of the people here)
at that price i would rather wait 2 months.
dilda ~$45 + $15 (sawt's shipping to us)
charger ~$6
batteries ~$5

total - ~$71 shipping and all

120 - 71 = $49 markup.  not worth it.  sorry.

my highest offer is $85 which is about a $30 profit for you.

I have mixed feelings about this... You show him making $49, but you need to subtract his shipping cost $6.00, Boxes for shipping $1.00, paypal fees per transaction $4.00, gas plus his time to drive to the USPS office $5.00. So in this case he will be making about $33.00 per laser So is he getting rich for selling these 4 Dilda's...NO! If someone would like a Dilda that lives in the US, then you have to be willing to accept the markup in price. I applaud his entrepreneurship Also, let's say he lowered his price to $100.00 per Dilda, then he would only be making about $13.00 per laser...hardly worth the trouble. And like Sportcoupe said...If you're not interested in the item...then keep walking, nothing more to see here folks

wackbag, i appreciate your help for me understanding, that makes more sense.  if he drops the price a bit i may buy.  i also should have more money in my paypal by monday.

These DX's were also tested for power output so you KNOW you're getting a working product. There have been DX's shipped by deal extreme that were dead on arrivial. It's ultimately the buyers choice, wait two months for a DX 200 and hope it works fine OR buy one of my tested ones and know it'll work when you receive it next week!

It's the high mark-up.  For a few bucks more, people can buy 250-300mW of tested, heatsinked, focusable red from folks like daguin, jayrob,  or even this new offering: http://www.laserpointerforums.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1226444892

Charging $120 for a package costing $51 before the FDA clampdown is going to leave people pretty sour.  And what about folks like me who already have batteries and a charger who might need a replacement laser?

At least Sawt only charges to recover shipping costs, which is more than reasonable.

When someone resells there's always a markup. Wait two months from a GB at near cost or have the item in 2-3 days with a slight cost increase of about $20 more, simple. I never said my price was firm people, please fell free to PM me an offer as cash talks.......

No. It is called "community" as opposed to "anarchy" One of the benefits of a community such as this is that we police ourselves. That sometimes includes letting a member know when they step outside the bounds of that community.

Your offer is perceived by many members of the community to have reached the level of usury. Although you do indeed have the right to try to sell what you own at ANY price. The members of the community also have the right to call you on this perceived usury.
