I recently decided to build the blu-ray laser with the dorcy jr flashlight and dr lava flexdrive... I ordered the heatsink from dark horse customs website, but he emailed me back a few weeks later saying he doesnt produce them anymore. Does anyone know where i could find a heatsink for this flashlight Amazon.com: Dorcy 41-4262 1 CR123 1-Watt Flashlight: Home Improvement and this module Aixiz Laser Module Housing - Blank [Aixiz] - $3.39 : High Tech DealZ, Simplifying the LASER Hobby! ... id really appreciate some help on this

Wait until you have the flashlight in hand. There are a couple of different models that are sold under the same number. Ehgemus, will know which one you have after you show him a picture.

These two flashlights come in the same packaging, with the same part number.
They need different heat sinks and different assembly steps

We call that the "old style." Ehgemus can make you a heat sink for it. With it, you can pretty much follow the posted assembly (hack). The main difference is that the heat sink does NOT have the slot cut out of the rear. It is a solid "tube" all the way to the end. The driver just sits up inside the "tube."
