Very cool! What wavelength is it? Is it a 445nm or a 405nm I can't tell because of the pics. In one pic it looks like a 445nm, and in another it looks like a 405nm. Also, what is it's power?

I got 2 of them, this one is the <160mw, 405nm version and the other one is the <900mw 445nm version(no pictures posted yet):gh:

I am curious about heatsinking for a 900mW 445nm in that host! What's the duty cycle 5 seconds on/60 seconds off?

The 445nm colour, of course, would match the true sonic much better.

What diodes, drivers, power sources are you using for these sonics? Without this info, it's hard to make a reasonalbe offer.

Like A cook of a italian restaurant where there is the best lasagna or spagetti will never give his recepe so why should i give my recipe,... :bumpit: And i want to remind everybody on this forum that this thread is about the Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver - Laser MOD Version 1.2 using the 150mw O-like module. ;)

With respect nano, it's not about the recipe so I can make my own. I'm a very capable laser cook myself. It's about the ingredients. What driver is in the module is important. A RKCSTR is cheaper than a Flexdrive, (an O-like driver considerably cheaper than either!). Is it a new Microboost? Do I already have a charger for the batteries that are in it, or do I need to buy another one? Do the batteries even come with it?

Have you had the laser power checked? By whom? You said it was 160mW but it's a 150mW O-like module? :thinking: I'm sure they can be driven over spec but how do you know?

This is why I asked. These are all things people will need to know and things you shouldn't mind sharing if you want to sell it.

Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm not bashing your sale; this is necessary info.

Ok, that's better info that will enable a buyer to make a more informed decision. Clearly a boost driver to run a BR from 3V but we don't know what type although it won't be a Flexdrive or Microboost.

Although your description in the first post of <160mW is strictly accurate, you should expect people to question why you state this figure when the original output is quoted as between 130mW and 150mW. Popping balloons and lighting matches can be achieved well below this.
