Diode Press Tools

Up for sales are two Diode Press Tools, unlike others, this tool using the Colimating Module backend opened up.

Asking $10 shipped anywhere, if you are interested send paypal payment see (address in my profile)

Instructions to use the Diode Press Tool

1. Pre-install the Diode into the module using your thumbs

2. Screw on the opened backend onto the module

3. Slide the Press Tool into the opened backend and use a vise to press the diode into the module

The opened backend ensure the Diode is level inside the module.

No tool marks left on the Diodes BTW. ;)

Thanks for looking. :)

Re: Diode Press Tools

I claim one, but I don't see the payment info in your profile. Payment Sent.

What tap size do you use to screw on the back of the Aixiz?

Edit: Nevermind about tap size.  I see you simply use the backend of an Aixiz module.

Re: Diode Press Tools

I thought you made one of your own diode press fit tools jake ? Weren't you selling them for $10.00 ? I made one of my own that's ALL BRASS. It countersinks the diode, & if you flip it to the other side, there's a fitting on there you can use to remove a BAD or BLOWN diode ;)

Re: Diode Press Tools

As you can see its very easy to handle and never tilt and slip on you. ;)

One member already use this tool to press hundreds of Diodes already. :)

Think you could keep one for me and does it make the diodes that you put aixiz/mendrith module get RECESSED?

Also does it work with mendrith too?

Also so you have to remove the little circut borde on the diode.

It works with Aixiz and DX modules it will make the Diode RECESSED see the second picture.

It does NOT work with Meridith module.

You should always remove the tiny PCB from the Diode first before press it into the module, if NOT the pins could get push out from the Diode. :'(

The second one is pending payment. If you like I can make one for you. :)

Re: Diode Press Tools

I've been using one of these for like 3 months now and am VERY glad TheMonk sent me one. Best tool EVER! saves tons of time not even counting the time needed if you don't use one of these and mess up while pressing the diode in.

thx monk for this great invention.

Re: Diode Press Tools >>Sold<<

Haha, I'm glad I got one before they sold out. It came in like 4 different levels of packaging (bubble envelope, paper box, bubblewrap and then press-seal bag), so it was in perfect condition. Nice and solid feel to it. too. No more crooked diodes in Azixz modules!

Glad you like it. :D

When I get some new tool bits I might be making a few more, this steel chews up the tool bits quick. ;D
