Didla focusing lens?

I just got my new didla (dx 200mw)

$27.09 - High-Power 200mW Red Laser Pen (Burns Match + Visible Beam Daytime) - Red Lasers

And the focusing lens has the most annoying semi-circular mark on it. I contacted the company and they want me to send the whole thing back for a replacement. I don't wanna wait another month so I was wondering if anyone had a lens for it that is scratch free that they'd be willing to part with. This may sound stupid to ask because who is gonna give away a good lense for their laser but maybe if someone burnt theirs out?

Do you only see the Circle Ring Around the Dot when you are Up close.?

If so then its the Lens.

It uses IIRC a standard Aixiz Uncoated Acrylic lens and they have the Ring around the dot due to an Internal Reflection of the lens.

I will find the Picture that i took showing hat is causing this reflection.

The Older style Aixiz Lens that had the Small opening in the back did not have these Rings IIRC.

DO you have a picture of the lens and assemble. You might be able to Fit a Red Glass Full threaded lens and this will get rid of the rings 100%.

IF this is not it. Then can you take a Picture of the Circle you are speaking of.

Nah, When unfocused it is a semicircle inside of the large dot. And when focused to a small dot it turns into an annoyingly large amount of diffraction around the halo, which is wasted burning power.

Can you take a Picture of the Dot showing what you see around it.?

That's the dot. It's even worse when focused.

I would like to see when then the dot is focused. Also If you can take a Picture with the lens removed from about 3 feet from the wall.

Please make sure you are wearing your goggles.

Now a few things. I do have a couple lenses that i can ship to you.

I can ship one to you that is i identical to the one that is in your laser now. Just pay shipping and its yours.

Now where you burning anything with this laser and got smoke on the lens.?

Iam Thinking that you either got smoke on your lens that damaged it. Or the Acrylic lens Failed.

I dont think the acrylic lens failed at that power.

Was the lens always like this from the start.? It looks like a bad cleaning with a Q tip. maybe before they shipped it to you they tried cleaning it with a Q tip then give you a new laser.
