**CLOSED**

I've "cleaned up" the post here.  These are what is left at this time (3-17-09)
Make me an offer ;)

Funding finally came through on the last pocket mini.  I'm going to close this thread.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR INTEREST AND SUPPORT

The last of my Krytons is sold

The lasers will have the AixiZ acrylic lens unless otherwise stated in the offer.

The prices quoted include shipping to the continental US.  International shipping will add to the cost.
Earliest PM gets the unit.  As always, I am open to reasonable offers (especially if you are getting more than one item)
and will listen to trade offers.

Finally, since there are so many again, I will give each laser a number.
Please refer to the number of the laser you are interested in when PM'ing me.

#9  I have ONE of these left.  It has the PHR-803T diode being driven by a Rkcstr.
It uses two, 10440 batteries.  Batteries will be included.  It is putting out 110mW.
It is offered here for $105

#13  I have these set up with their own FS thread now
http://www.laserpointerforums.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1236874855/14#14

To quiet the MANY PM's about if I will offer these again, I am offering my 250mW red burner modules again.
They have the long closed can diode.  They are being driven by a Rkcstr.  They are in an AixiZ module.
They will need 6V-12V of power.  I have NINE left.
These are offered here in two different configurations.  You can get the module completely assembled, ready for a heat sink and power for $40 or a "kit" wich will require you to solder on the wires and the driver to the diode pins for $30

$40 = completely assembled
$30 = the kit

Yeah. However, a friend needed a partner (and then Jayrob had all of those great deals). I ended up with more to divest than I had anticipated. I will NOT be doing that again. Looking around, I only see about 6-10 more hosts. I have some evaluation work yet ahead that will end up with a couple more for sale after that. I'm almost out of diodes!!!! <yea!>

Then I guess I'll have to look at the gas lasers, eh?

There will be NOTHING like this again. This was almost like a job. I had a job once. I didn't like it then and I don't like them now. I recommend that you avoid them whenever possible.

I haven't heard someone use penultimate in such ease since my writing course. :D

We don't want you to stop building, Dave!

Re: daguin's Penultimate Sale

Those are some very nice builds.
I'm very anxious to see how quickly those go. I'm also anxious to finally get my hands on one of these 6x diodes. I killed the one and only one I had a while ago and couldn't afford the $300+ to get another drive.

Re: daguin's Penultimate Sale

I am interested in item #3, "un-anodized Kryton Groove, 6x, 200mW".

1: Where is the on/off button?
2: Focusing, does the white casing that looks separate adjust focus, or is it a bit more fiddly by having to reach in a bit?
3: What's the duty cycle like?
4: How much to ship it to the UK?

Just noticed that it isn't the actual picture, I'll wait till that goes up ;)

Thanks :)

I've updated the pics above, but I'll re-post them here for you as well.

The on/off is a tail switch.  It is a constant on/off clicky switch.  You click it on.  You click it off.  The switch cover on this laser is "glow-in-the-dark" material

The lens is the black part you can see.  It is recessed, but easily accessible.

We haven't really developed a "duty cycle" for these yet.  To be safe you should limit it to a couple of minutes, but it is probably longer.  The violet diode doesn't generate the kinds of heat that a green or a red do.  Also, the Kryton is an excellent heat sink.  The design make the entire body part of the heat sink!  I wouldn't switch it on and walk away or try to use it like a lab style laser, but I also don't worry about it too much with my own laser.

Flat rate Priority will cost you an additional $13

I'll ship it with the black rubber strips in a separate bag.  You can decide if you like them or not.  I don't have them in my personal Krytons.

Peace,
dave
