Nope. No heatsink. Just the empty shell. The WF-501B has no pill either. The heatsinks you get are designed to handle that though.

Does $37 include shipping? I am working on a red burner of my own but I could always use another.
if not what would shipping be to Southern UT for something that size. not much I imagine.

At $37, I'd just as you pay $2 shipping.
Yeah it's waterproof, but who really uses that feature! Haha

I do lol, have you ever brought a red or green laser underwater in a pool? It's a lot of fun. It's also a great demonstration of critical angle for total internal reflection.

Yeah I suppose. Unfortunately when the head is screwed all the way on, it doesn't focus it to infinity. You just need to focus the head out a little bit. So i'm not sure if focusing it compromises its waterproof ratings.

But that's still a pretty neat use for an underwater laser!

C6 Heatsink and the Aurora C6 have both been sold.

200mW laser and WF-501B host are still available.

Shipping to Ireland still $3 for red 200mW laser?

Is it focusable and waterproof?
What is the issue with the waterproof feature that was discussed in the earlier posts on this thread?

Shipping to Ireland will probably cost a bit more. I forgot to clarify I would rather keep this inside the US, but that's just due to cost.

It is focusable and advertised as waterproof. However, I have never tested out whether it is waterproof by submersion tests. I don't wanna risk it. I'm sure the host is waterproof though, I have seen other's do tests on the same host.

All I ever see the water resistance being used for by the average laser enthusiast is protection from drops in water, protection from spills, or protection from being outside in the rain.

Hey guys,

I just re-built the 445nm Blue Laser in the exact same body as this RED and tested it for being waterproof.

http://laserpointerforums.com/f51/h...rect-laser-going-again-72562.html#post1046615

I filled up my sink with hot water and submerged the Laser for 5 minutes.

Not one drop of water got inside.

It is waterproof, due to it's design.

It has o-ring seals up the waaazooo and the top of the Laser allows for it to be adjusted while keeping it waterproof.

This is accomplished by the lens being on the inside of the cap and if you unscrew the cap you will see that the lens is indeed inside and screwed into the top of the cap from the inside.

When you screw it into the hole in the top cap, it is putting pressure on a small clear lens that is in the top, followed by a small rubber o-ring.

I hope this helps, but ya the Laser is Waterproof.

Enough that I would use it in the rain with NO issues.

Honestly if I had the money FRET, I would buy it from you to match my Blue..

Good luck on your sale... and if it don't hit me up in a week and I will buy it.
