looking at some of the posts, I'm wanting to play around with the V/A of my diode, seems it can be pushed prety hard if cooled properly. What's a good place to get a variable PSU that preferably isn't very expensive? doesnt have to be high-pwoered, since I'll be using it for laser diodes that cant be driven over 500ma

If you want to fine tune that even further, you can add one of my drivers to it and get a variable voltage/variable current supply :)

PM me if you want to work something out.

um... nice, but I want to be able to regulate the mA so I can start @ 100ma and work my way upto 500ma to crank every mw of pwoer I can out of my diodes. (I have lots of old PC power supplies, I'm a reair tech IRL ;)

@ DDL: what do you have? is it able to fine-tune the Ma/V?
