I might put some glue around the back of the diode for support. I noticed when I tested this with the S4 host the battery applied a bit of pressure to that connection.

Does anyone know if a Mohgasm driver will fit inside this pen? I have about 10 M140 diodes left over from a projector I split a year ago and wanted to use one in one of these pens. I ended up buying the two cell pen thinking I would use a linear driver for the M140. I've got some Mohgasms stashed somewhere, need to find them if they will fit. Would be great if I could do exactly what was done in the pictures above with a Mohgasm. Also, it's been so long since I've messed with a Mohgasm I cannot remember the max current without heat sinking the driver, anyone recall that too?

It would be nice to find a bunch of those plastic drive retainers I'm new wish pens. They really come in handy

Finally the time for a final update before they get shipped, I tried my best to be on schedule but please forgive me if there is a couple of days delayed due to the weekend.

Pre-orders are suspended temporarily, and will be resume them after the final countdown and I'll se if there are any leftovers otherwise only the bare-copper version will be available.

On the order sheet there was first class, priority, express, etc options with different prices. But I'll see what the final verdict is.

The hosts are in, there's a lot of sorting out to do and we have a few damaged ones in transit , luckily we have some extras to cover that so we're all set. Packaging will be in progress and everyones hosts should go out before the weekend. :D

What's the best way to setup a 9mm 445nm with this host? The greenie pictured above has a case pin. Any ideas? :thinking:
I have the 2 cell model for this 9mm build.

You can also squash a multicore wire between the module and host when you press the module in.

How is it possible to add a case pin?
