Personally I don't see any problem with him selling it for $120. It's just that IMO it won't sell very quickly for that. For $100 it will.

It's only an issue to me if it is implied that the laser was bought for more than it actually was.

At $120 it's still not a bad deal:thinking:

IMO yobresal's offer is the best possible option though.

LOL!! I offered to buy another two today(waiting to hear back on 1), I really like green lasers:eek:

Also I have a 445 and a 650 on the way:eg:

I'm gonna sell off a few of my lasers after 4th of july. Also two of those greens are in really awful shape, so they don't really count.

I only like green pointers and smaller portables. Everything else is too big. eBay pens or Nichia work fine for me. I can easily find overspec ones. Maybe not with Nichia pens, but Nichia pens are comparable to CNI pens to me :)

It´s up to people if they are willing to buy stuff. Unless the price is a colossal cheek, I wouldn´t tell others NOT to buy it.

Rammstein, upload a few pics of the unit working. Including the sheet of paper, date, name, laser... you know ;)

What i can say is that these CNI pens are awesome.

I've had awful luck with ebay pens, so stopped buying them. The last "pen" I got was from swimminsurfer and it does live up to the claims.

If I can find a >150mW 532nm pen for $100 or less, and that's semi reliable, I'll take it though. I thought I finally found one, but they turned out to be another drop shipper.

I know it's crazy, but I'm actually considering going to thailand, at least partially so that I can buy a bunch of overspec greens. They sell them there for $20-40. I lpmed three in total, they came in at 90mW, 140mW and 175mW.

Lol Nichia pens are $110 before shipping for 150mW. Most likely not ovespec though.

Yup, I know. $100 seems to be a psychological "buy" threshold for me:undecided:

I wish. I didn't have spare goggles or IR filter at the time to test for it, but based on personal observations of pens since then, I'd judge the IR content to be ~30%.

Also I should note, the lasers are of the same design as all the ebay pens we're used to. Of the three pens I know one stopped working, and one produces a huge halo now.

Lol. Ill stick with my Nichia pens if your pens look like the common ebay pens. For all i know, they could be modded for that output..

I can't speak for the third one...

The two that I do know about, duty cycles were not followed at all and, the one with the halo was dropped on at least one occasion onto a hardwood floor. I'm pretty sure the other one was dropped too.

I'm still waiting to see how you can pot mod an ebay green laser to >100mW:na:

Geez, that's quite a collection of ebay pens you got there!

I'm 99% sure they were $30 each, but I'll double check. I think the weaker one was $20.

Lol the pens were supposed to be for classmates at one of my classes here, but they dropped. Oh well, at least i still have the pointers. $30 pointers from eBay? Let me guess, you probably found a listing similar to this one with a number in the title :)
