Really...? If its profit through PP, you have to report it? What about all those gigantic bullion dealers on ebay that use PP? Ive never reported any profit..LOL.
No PP reports it to the IRS if you do over a certian amt of transactions- IIRC its around $20000 or 200 deals iirc.

its easy for someone(not you) to say thats no big deal...until you get the audit hammer. just how would I go about PROVING my GBs were done at noprofit to me??

im on Gb#5-- no complaints so far

sry I meant 20000$ and that may be both coming in AND going out combined. Luke has been very kind to offer a buy back--thats prolly your best option IMO

Wtf..still, even if its $20,000 for coming in AND going out, thats TOO low. I buy a lot of things online regularly..and i know for a fact that ive already exceeded that amount in just payments going out. For payments received, im at $11856. For going out its..$35251.. If its based on amount only..then uhhh i should close my paypal :)

Edit: Exception: Very small merchants won't be issued information returns. "Small" for this purpose means annual gross sales on merchant cards of no more than $20,000 or 200 or fewer transactions. In other words, reporting is required only if gross amounts for the year exceed $20,000 AND there are more than 200 transactions.

IDK if you need to close yr acct.
My case is diff as I am retired& disabled so I have not needed to file at all for several yrs. So if the IRS would be wanting to go after me I could lose my SSI. which is very small and not enough to even survive on. so....w/o that I will be found living under the bridge in an old refrigerator Box.

BTW 'buddies' hak's Bday is july 3rd so get me something nice--cash is always nice lol

I think i can stay under the radar.. Only 27 Transactions were "payments received" If its $20,000 AND 200 transactions, i wont hit the 200 transactions mark anytime soon. I was cleaning out excess stuff in the house and getting new things, so i only have, at most, 50 more "payment received" transactions to do :)

So let me get this straight? You bought it for $100, and are trying to sell it for $120? No thanks, we don't gouge prices here

Lol give him a chance. He was probably trying to get back exactly what he paid for it. But true, we dont gouge prices, yet someone tried to sell me a 405nm GLP for $120 when they bought it for $50..

He's trying to gouge prices. He got a good deal, so why should the next person?
That's what he's thinking
