As you may already know this economical budget Laser Power Meter
is offered on eBay for $179.99 plus shipping.
It is named the LaserBee A for Analog....
It is a very small 3-1/2 Digital Display Non-Data Logging LPM.
( 2.5" X 4" X 1.5" )
It has additional circuitry that enables True Zeroing by way of the
Zeroing control on the exterior of enclosure.
We had left a 1.5W laser on the Sensor for 20 minutes to let the
Thermopile radiator heat up a bit then removed the Laser beam
and let the display drop to below Zero and stabilize there.
The Zero control was easily able to Zero the reading to take another
Laser power reading immediately.
There is room inside the enclosure to install our DL2-Module to turn
it into a Data Logging LPM which can read higher powers than the on
board 3-1/2 Digital Display.
Our DL2-Module will be discounted at $69.99 when purchasing it at
the same time as the LaserBee A. Contact us prior to placing your
order.
It is to be noted that the DL2-Module is to be installed by the buyer.

The LaserBee A uses the same large 2.5W rated Thermopile and
mechanically stable Radiator as used on the LaserBee 2.5W USB.
The LaserBee A runs off a single standard 9volt battery and draws a
mere 32mA...
It also uses an LDO regulator on the PCB to ensure stable readings
even if battery voltages sag or change with use.
Note that the installed 3-1/2digital display will only display up to 2
Watts (2000mW).
