Hi guys.

I am thinking about selling my Kenometer Pro.
I have no idea how much they sell for now, so I want to see if anyone is interested and how much people would expect to pay for one.
I seem to remember the original price fluctuating somewhere around $400 and sometimes up to $500 but since I haven't been here for over half a year I don't really have a clue. All I know is that they are no longer made.

The meter is in great condition. Readings of several stable old lasers are within 1% of what I measured the power to be when I bought the LPM. There are no significant scratches or other damage to the case or thermopile sensor.

EDIT: No longer for sale.

Re: Kenometer Pro FS (feeler)

depends on what the insides look like?
i think 300$ as long as the sensor is in decent condition would be fair.

This is a Kenometer PRO, not a normal Kenometer.

There doesn't appear to be any interest so I don't think I will bother selling this unless someone posts suggesting otherwise today.

Re: Kenometer Pro FS (feeler)

Here you go.
As you can see it is in almost new condition apart from a few fingerprints and dust on the enclosure which will obviously be removed before it is shipped.
The batteries have been charged about 10 times so they should have a lot more life left in them. Otherwise you can get a new pair for about $5.

Gotcha, didn't realize the differences between the pro

I guess the one he had was a one-off since it was just an LCD and the thermopile in an enclosure

Re: Kenometer Pro FS (feeler)

300 or up is good starting price for Kenometer pro. The Ophir Thermopile is great and other than some noise issues it works flawlessly.

There is a free update from Trevor to fix the noise issue and an upgrade to add .1mw ability also. The firmware still has a couple bugs but it is a super improvement along with scrolling data log on the LCD. (LumenOS)

I'm going to do a review if I get a non-bug version soon. otherwise I'll do with my Kenometer Pro as is.
if you send Trevor your meter he will tweak and match to the kenometer pro you have.

I've seen some meters that take 10-30 seconds for an accurate read. This one is instant read and is data log-able.

IMHO, it is well worth the $400 I paid, plus the firmware upgrade makes it unbeatable for the price..

That's too bad that you are selling it...
Why are you selling your LPM...

Good luck with your sale....
