I was doing a little work here organizing stuff, and decided y'all might like to build a laser.
I have eight (8) only one (1) Long Closed Can diodes already harvested and pressed into an aiXiz focusing module. I already attached some wire leads so all you need to do is hook it to your driver and give it power.
I tested these at 420mA. They are averaging 240mW at that current. They can be pushed farther (but at peril). I have one running at 500mA! :evil: IgorT has one running at 510mA.
They are $15 EACH, shipped in the US.
**SOLD** I had a couple of Rkcstr drivers here as well so I went ahead and made a couple of lasers too. They are in a silver Newwish style pen. They have the LCC diode with a Rkcstr driver set at 410mA. They have the aiXiz acrylic lens. They come with two 10440 batteries. You will need to get a charger if you do not already have one ($10 at DX) They are putting out 235mW.
In a pen, you will need to keep your duty cycles to 60 seconds (and allow it to cool between burns) but they burn very well.
PRICE DROP because the Chinese worker is exploited
They are $50 $40 EACH shipped in the US.
