Re: Daguin's Epic Sale

Be sure to consider that RF CO2 laser he's selling. That's less than I paid for my last one. It is a neat project for the advanced experimenter.

Re: Daguin's Epic Sale

How much do ya think shipping to Oklahoma, USA on item 13 would be?

I really need a zip code for accuracy. However, I used Oklahoma City to get you an estimate. It will have to ship in two boxes (for safety and weight). The total shipping cost (parcel) will be ~$40

Peace,

I'm trying to find the paperwork on it (It may have been in with the box of stuff that was stolen when I moved here.).

However, my notes say 32-38V @ 10A, 5v at 300mA, and 12V at 4A.

If you want to be able to adjust the output, you should also plan on hooking up a PWM.

Thanks, that's close enough I'm sure, I don't think the price would change for about 100-150 miles east? Anyway... The zip is 74021

Yeah. The estimate would be the same.

"Items 8-11 are some new style Dorcy laser kits. The kits include everything you will need except the diode. These have the new Ehgumus heat sink."
Does this mean that if purchased together with a diode, you will essentially send a completed laser out? Or will some basic soldering be necessary?

These are all of the parts needed. You will have to do the setting and soldering. If you also purchase a diode form me, I will press it into the heat sink for you if you want me to.

Re: Daguin's Epic Sale

The reduced prices are only good for a few more hours. Then I'll have to decide what to do with this sale (Keep it going? Make it less epic? Move to a deserted island with Maryanne?).

ps- You got me with the photo of your Scientech meter and new price...I thought for a second you meant $200 for the laser in the pic, a laser that I had somehow missed in the OP.

I might be interested in item 14 but I have a question
can you adjust the color or does it just produce several color dots

In a multi-line all of the colors come out together in the beam. We use a diffraction grating or prism to break up the colors when you see them in a line like the spots. You can use a filter to only let a particular line out, but you cannot "adjust" the laser itself.

In the below picture, you can see the original beam coming from the right, through the PBS cube (where it is split so it can cross the color lines). then it striking and reflecting off of the diffraction grating so that the color lines can be seen. The beam coming from the right and crossing the color lines is the color of the beam as it exits the laser.

Re: Daguin's Epic Sale

Dave,

How much would shipping be if I were to come over and pick the laser up in person? Also, do you have any green modules (50-100mW) for sale? :yh:
And, do you have a spare diode (4x, 6x?) we can put into my busted bluray?

If you pick it up, shipping is $0.00 ;) I'll probably even throw in a diffraction grating because you will save me the packing.

The best green module I have on hand is ~30mW. However, I have a couple on the way that left Hong Kong on the 7th. They SHOULD be <100mW. They also should be here very soon :)

I have PHR's, 6X's, and 8X's on hand. I don't usually keep 4X's on hand. The 6X is a much better diode for not a lot more money.

Peace,
dave
