Hello!

Buy brand Jetlasers titanium laser. Specifically TI-looking model A or model pen. Reference not remember exactly what it was.
If you have the laser in which the module will not work no matter. Would buy the host.

Listen to offers.

Re: Looking for titanium laser jetlasers

Have you tried asking Gray at Jetlasers?
He might have a pen model host or a complete pen unit sitting around that he could sell to you. I am sure there are no more Ti A as it was asked here recently -- they never became a production item--were rare, only made 10 or 12 of them.

Re: Looking for titanium laser jetlasers

Those in your pics have been discontinued LONG ago- if I had any of them i would NOT sell as they have become collectors items-

I have a few ti-Bs FS but do not ship to Spain- if you REALLY want one then do NOT delay contacting Gray (user name JETLASERS) as they may only be a few left- all will be 532 green and either 100 or 150 mW-when introduced the Ti-Bs 532 were $210 PLUS shipping- if you act NOW you will get one for one half that price--

JETLASERS does not sell hosts- it was tried and turned out to be a very bad idea as well as counterproductive- JL does NOT want to compete with the wonderful LPF members who make custom hosts and there are MANY to choose from-BUT no others make lasers from Titanium(AFAIK)- its one of the most expensive metals (just scrap pieces get $5 per pound IF you buy 100 pounds at a time) Ti has a rep for being a 'tool buster' and the tools used for lathes and Mills are NOT cheap. if you want exotic hosts look for Stainless steel - or copper-

any extras laying around at JL I have 'dibbs' on already --sorry... i earned them.

ps

when JL gave up on trying to turn a profit on Ti host lasers the company who was contracted to make the parts so JL could build had a few left- they were NOT etched on the side and a China laser maker managed to get the last ones-built in them and sold them(all) and AFAIK thats it.--
I never saw these but would not be surprised to hear they were seconds- ones that did not pass QC. - after that due to demand JL tried again but the cost of Ti and the work needed made these too expensive to be profitable--AFAIK,,

I have ONLY TWO first NOS generation Ti-Bs left here to sell(14500s)- pics of LPM readings are in the last three posts in the JL GB thread #1- they are FS to CONUS only- both are 532nm 100mW and over spec.

thanks for the kind words in the above posts---len

Great choice--you are lucky to be able to get one of the small number made! A real bargain at the current group buy prices---originally the cost was about double and worth every penny.

TiB is a great laser and the host a mechanical artwork.

You will be pleasantly surprised by the very substancial Ti host. It is very high quality, beautifully done machining. The knurling is outstanding, edges chamfered everything is very right about it.

Titanium metal is my favorite. I have a titanium flashlight and although not very good quality is nice.

[EDIT]

Hello again. I'm going crazy. These batteries are used for this model of laser?. Also you can use the 18650?
Try to clear my doubts.

Update--
AFAIK JL has no Ti lasers other than the Ti-B and only 532-100mW or 150mW- I still have two here in texas-both are the first generation and take the 14450 battery- the nerw ones can still begotten until thsy are gone =and all are the newer version that uses the 16650 or 17650 bsttery (one)

I will let these two last ones go for 95$- each- & $15 to ship insured to CONUS only- NO PAYPAL will be accepted- comes with free cheapy charger - a new battery will cost you $7.50 both ate new-)old stock) and have all their original warranty. I take personal checks (but you wait til check clears my bank) or for quick shipping a bank check or even better a USPS $1.99 MO- mail me that and I ship same day and add some extra surprises to the box. For the buyers these Ti lasers ahev always been a good deal- for JL they were a money losing flop= the work on this host cost way more than an amount that left room for profit. Ask any machinist about working with Ti- its not easy- it breaks a lot of $$ tools and just the scraps and shavings fetch 5$usd per pound WHEN buying 100 pounds- its what pacemakers and parts for hearts are made from- I sold herunotsurugi the one he has and its a keeper- surprized he will let it go-- it is way overspec-- one of the best ones made..
JETLASERS found that selling hosts was not a great idea- rebuilding in one is NOT for everybody- and no instructions comes with- Only a REAL pro could do this.. as it would NOT be a kit- some parts you would have to fab yourself-

PM me if anyone has Qs.
