So was it ever used before it was waiting as you said? All 4 of the wire holes on the corners of the driver were soldered over, it appears it has been used (?) It's not a huge deal, it was only a $7 driver - but what I'm curious to know is if you knew this did or did not work AND if the inductor was damaged the way it is in the picture above when you mailed it out.
I'd be more unset with knowing you sold something that didn't work because you're a trusted member here in my book....

Yes it was tested not used. BUT I didn't test it before Ship it out (I were sure that it works) Maybe I did something when I extract it from the pill. The inductor was not damaged when I ship it out.
It's not even a big deal, it happend first time on me situations like this so sorry buddy!

Nah don't worry about it, I appreciate your explaining. I have a stockpile of drivers anyways so it's not like I've been left high & dry. Besides it's the arctic host I really wanted to get my hands on from your sale, the boost was sort of just a bonus. Yes all the other stuff is fine :beer:

I just saw in my paypal account that you refunded me the $7 for the bad driver. That wasn't really necessary but I sincerely thank you for your honesty & taking this unrequested action

Yes, I saw that too. I don't like the modules with threads. It reduced the thermal surface with the sink almost to half. Thanks anyway

This can cause more problem than you think. If the module and the back aren't completely flush. It will create a small gap between the copper module and the sink. Maybe enough to make the heattransfer worse than just the copper module. Filling up with thermal paste won't help either.
The best is just the copper module pressed hard against the sink with a little paste.
