As the title say !
im interested in some 300mw 5.6 mm too (very rare);

i would like to know if you have a good source of these at a relatively fair price

i need them to repair some greenie

yeah but the shipping charge are to heavy .
What do you propose shipping included for 5 diode ?

romeo i think that you can't have 300 mw LD at 5.6 mm.

Hi guys, i just had a chat with my supplier and here is the log:

SUPPLIER
200MW:USD 8 per unit
300MW:USD 13 per unit

Shipping Charge:USD25 (DHL, Tracked secured and will arrive in 2-4 days depending on location - PER 5000 units)
OR
Shipping by EMS to USA - USD13 (Not tracked or secured)
Shipping by EMS to France/UK - USD15 (Not tracked or secured)

ME says:
how many pcs per shipping charge?

SUPPLIER says:
5000PCS

ME says:
the 300mW is DEFINATLY 5.6mm diode?

I have several 5.6 closed can types from ggw sleds i believe they are 200-300 mw

8 bucks each shipped lol

I have one of them and more on the way did not know they were that powerfull I will pull the one I have and test it and post the results, heck I'm going to check the ones from all my sleds now , duh :banghead:

yea pryo no one has really posted alot on these i have 12 or so of these i also have 6 open can types from 50 100 mw green newish units so i'm thinking 200-300 mw 808 ?? i dunno im not a dpss guy lol

They are 780nm diodes...

I would like one 200-300mW diode to repair green pointer but shipping is too expensive.
For that money I can buy green laser pointer with 200mW diode inside.

Just buy 3 5mw module from Susie (o-like.com) for 36$ (+u get ktp ect and can turn this 5mw into more powerful one but its difficult)
the current for a 5mw module is 360mA. So it's 300mW diode.
i take the diode inside the module which is hard screwed with glue, with a big screwdriver. shipping is 6$ a bit high, imo

The DX True 5 is even cheaper, $10 shipped and there is a ~250mW 808nm laser diode in there. Then on top of that you get a nice pen host with a driver, plus a set of crystals to mess with and a brass laser module.


John- That diode you have is 780nm like somebody else said, it is useless for pretty much any DPSS pump. I'm also pretty sure it is hard to get much over 100mW with a decent lifetime with those.

what's the current in the DX true ? i would be surprised if it's nearly 350 mA
The problem with this host is that it's very difficult to tear appart. But ok the price is cheaper than Susie.
Just by turning the diode in a susie module, i got +30 mw from a 5mw one.
But it's impossible to obtain more power (like their 140 mw one gloup!) just by rotating the diode. The position of the crystal set may be the other key to high power, but it's nearly impossible to completely tear appart a susie 's module.
