Anyway all it said was I've got paypal off my arse for a week or two and am looking for a middleman for selling the two lasers.

The general consensus seems to be to send the 1W to Sawt, so that I shall do. I think I still have his address around somewhere however Sawt can you please email it to me regardless just to doublecheck.

Is Murudai happy to middleman the green for me? Freshert - that sounds great.

the one that says 200mw is the pics of the 150mw rated - I decided to call it 200 and sell it as such because it performs as such.

VillageIdiot - how does a TEC cooled and regulated open can module sound? I'd offer it in analog modulated, but I can't afford and can't build an analog driver so it'd be a LM317 job. I've got all the parts for that but the TEC ($12) and the 317 $2, both locally), and I'd be more than happy to build that and send it to ya for what I owe.
I'd estimate it at anywhere between 250 and 400mw, depending on how the diode is and how it responds to being TEC'd. Probably around the 300 mark. Diodes are fickle things, no?

Actually Freshert - BluRay PMed me about the green some time ago. He's happy to go ahead with Murudai as middleman, and I'm gonna go with him since he did ask first.

Sorry for the double / triple post but I just realised I have something else that may be of interest to some of you.

I've got one of DealExtreme's cell phone jammers here. It is in need of some repairs which I'd deal with first, but if it works, I'd be happy to send it to anyone whom I owe $50 or so (what I paid for it).
I've even got a radio scanner that (IIRC) covers the American phone bands, so I should be able to tune it for you if you can provide any info about the companies / bands you'd like it to cover.

About that TEC open can, what sort of battery would it run on? Could you make it run off mains?

Hm. I was going for like DC 12v or so... But power source would be one of the things I'd ask ya.
I could whip up an external power supply for it, for a little extra (barely more than cost, and the profit goes back to LPF), which could give it mains power input and analog modulation.
If I was you, though, I'd just buy a 12v power pack from Dick Smiths or something.
... you are an aussie right or have I got something very screwed up?

So that $225.00 will atleast go back to some of the people who didnt get their stuff they ordered from you, and also help you on your PP.
Although i havent been ripped off by you BF, but the things i read and im sure other people read here will lead them to stay clear away from you. So if your post is to ask for help so you can help pay back others than i'll buy the Green laser from you.

id make sure the middleman has it first so that way you know it gets shipped and wait until they tell you they have it. dont trust his word that he shipped it. hes used that excuse many times before.

Actually, when using a middle man, payment should not be made until the middle man has evaluated the unit and reported back to BOTH parties.  IF the parties agree that the unit is acceptable, THEN payment is made.  After the seller notifies the middle man that he has received payment, ONLY THEN should the middle man ship the unit.  If BOTH parties cannot agree on the acceptability of the unit, then the middle man ships the unit back to the seller (or in one case for me, forwarded on to Jack for repairs).

Yeah, this is the basic idea of using a middleman.
Sawt - got yer email. I'll get it sent out when possible.

Now a piece of info that does concern you guys... for some reason, my cgeeky@gmail.com paypal is now unable to receive funds at all... strangely. Try for yourself if you really want.
So I guess I'll have to collect funds with another account and have them paid into it through other means (bank account and/or bpay, credit cards, etc).

I've no idea how this benefits PayPal in trying to collect funds for it though.




On a totally different topic. Some Aussies might know, the Royal Adelaide Show is on at the moment. I've yet to go, but I hear they have a laser show this year... looking forward to it and I'll be sure to report back.
