Ordered a "Just add diode kit" for myself :)

Oh and is the current for a 1w build 1050mA?
(First 445nm build)

EDIT: I"ll keep the "just add a diode" set the driver at 600mA for LPC 660nm diode.

Yes, I want to set it to 400mA. 1,2A is way to much for a LOC.
I want the refrectors and glass windows too with the host if you can.
I do have some regular C6 flashlight and they give very good throw with a Cree XP-E LED at 800mA.

Can you tell me approx what kinda power these will produce with a 445nm at 1.8A and how much use can I expect from a set of cheap Ultrafire 800mAh cr123's?

If you want laser more than 1W, you need bigger heatsink.

i run my C6 at 1.8A and it does fine. Has about a 1 minute duty cycle though.....

I keep getting Black Friday ads from local vendors as well as Cyber Monday (WTF Is a Cyber Monday) so I think we may be taking advantage of some of the US holidays. I don't think it's as big of a deal here as it is there tho.

Cyber Monday is the Monday after Thanksgiving when everyone goes back to work and does all their shopping online during company time. Heh. Pretty sure the term was originally coined back in the day when not everyone had computers/Internet access.
