I made a special Dominator with a copper heatsink and focus adapter. The 9mm 445nm diode is my best diode in available.
The laser is powered with two 26650 rechargeable li-ion cells. The buck driver is set at 2.4A current. Current draw at the tailcap is 2A. That means with fully charged 26650 cells this beast has a total runtime of two hours.

The copper heatsink is highly polished on the front and the copper focus adapter has a fine matte finish. As you can see in the picture this gives a pleasant contrast between the copper.
The laser with the batteries weight 846 gram.
The Dominator laser can now be outfitted with a multimode driver. The modes are 100% / 50% / 10% and flashing. If you don't want the modes the single maximum output is still available.

Output buck driver: 2.4A current
Lens : G2
Power supply : 2x 26650 Li-ion rechargeable battery.
Duty cycle : 5min on/ 2min off.

Blord my friend. would a laser this awesome have a similar price if I had you build me one in the future? I was planning on getting a crazy powerful blue from you after I get my build: 700mW 532nm kit done by jayrob. I even wanted a 2X 26650 host and a massive heatsink with it. So, is this special pricing for this kinda laser, or can I do it in the future as well? my finances need to recover a bit after this build, plus the three from you which should be arriving any day...

I can do the Copper Dominator + 2x 26650 4000mAh + charger + safety goggle and world wide Express shipping for $500.

You basically get the extra stuff for free as the shipping will be ~$50.

Another copper beauty Blord Curious as to how much the copper ran $. Absolutely loving the use of copper in your builds lately. Work is still really terrible right now so can't spend big $ Just wanted to say I can at least appreciate from the sidelines for now Did you take the tube fom another dominator for length?

The copper alone worth $80. It it hard to machine this metal.
The extension tube is not a tube from another Dominator. It is a specially made tube for this kind of host. It has the same color and texture as the original tube.
