Not sure if anyone's interested but I have my Automotive HID kits on sale for $80.  Normally go for $129.  Great kits with 1yr warranty.

If your not sure what HID headlight systems are...well, in simple form they are plug and play headlight systems that work for almost every car.  It produces a VERY bright headlight.  You can get them in multiple color temperature....from bright clear white to almost a violet color.

Any other questions, just ask.

Very nice website. I have to ask though, what are the illegal things that people have been doing to make you put

"
GetYourHIDS.com does not endorse any illegal use of the HID conversion kits. Due to recent regulatory developments, DOT/NHTSA prohibits the use of HID Retrofit system on highway or public road in USA.
"

on the very bottom of FAQ?

I can't think of anything illegal to do with a headlight :-?

good luck with the sales though, I might buy one later.

The kits are not considered street legal. I don't want the assumption made that they are. Try to be as honest as possible.

Also, I added what you suggested in your PM (home page)

cool. I think you should put that pic on the buying page where they are choosing the color, let them see what they are about to buy.

code is: <img src="http://www.getyourhids.com/HID3colors.gif">

and I'd put it after on the buy standard HID page "<b>Price:</b> $80.00</p> "

Please explain how they are plug and play - one of my cars has these lights from the factory

my other two do not - can I plug and play them? I am interested.

2002 Chevy Tahoe - 5.3L
2007 Chevy Crew Cab - 4.8L

Thanks,

yeah most of the kits now are plug and play. For example, the harness that currently plugs into your light bulb, will now plug into the ballasts and the ballasts will have their own wiring harness that connects to the new HID bulb. SO there's no wire splicing or anything involved, you just need to mount the ballasts.

I'm not trying to thread crap here. I just want to keep others out of trouble.

You might want to check your local and state laws before installing these into your factory headlights. Factory headlight designs are meant to reflect halogen bulb light in a way that he light doesn't blind oncoming drivers. Factory headlight housings don't reflect the HID light properly due to the increased brightness of the lights. That can cause serious problems to those driving cars if a truck/SUV owner installs HID lights in their factory light housings.

.. I think the kits being somewhat shady with the law is appealing actually :) that is just my attitude though.

Aaron, would you be interested in trades at all for these HID lights? I've got tons of laser stuff (check my website).

Sorry guys, had to travel for a day.

True, these are not legal. Either is owning a 5mW+ laser (just a joke).

These kits are great. Easy to install. 1yr warranty.

I always recommend they lower their headlights when they install these. Helps with that problem.

Would I lose the high beam on these vehicles if I installed the HID's?

You cannot compare the lights from a vehicle that came from the factory with HID's to these cheap retrofit HID kits. You will not get the same results unless you swap the projector housing from the HID vehcile to the non-HID vehicle too. This makes it hardly plug and play.
