I bought this from laserglow. It will come with it's original paperwork and the nice case. This laser has hardly been used. I love it but I just bought a 50mW so this one is being bumped out of the collection. I will post pics later when I get off work if anyone is interested. It looks like all the rest of the aquaries lasers. It requires a short warm up to reach its maximum brightess as is the case with most. I will include 2 extra batteries. Also I will check to see the actual output when I get home. I believe it is a tad over 10mW.

$300 shipped

Tell us about the 50mW. I'll assume it's a CNI PGL-III-C. Bill

How does the beam of a 10mW 473nm compare to a 5mW green? Like, would you be able to see a beam at night? I would guess it would be a little brighter than a 10mW red, since it's a little closer to the middle of our spectrum than red, but still nowhere near green's visibility?

Any chance of pics? I've been dying to get my hands on a 473nm but have been waiting for a good price. Or another CNI GB

Re: Aquaries 473nm 10mW

Actually the visibilty of this when warmed up is comparable to a 5mW green. WAY brighter than a 5mW red, brighter than a 240mW red. I think I need to test this laser when my laserbee gets here as I suspect it is doing more than 10mW. Probably closer to 15mW. I do not know if laserglow took the full minute to let this laser warm up before they started to record it's average output or if they just started recording from the second it powered up.

Re: Aquaries 473nm 10mW

It sounds great, but $300 is too much for me to spend. I'm not saying lower it, but I'm saying I might be interested if I can scratch up some money for it. Any scratches or blemishes? or only very minor is any?

Re: Aquaries 473nm 10mW

Here it is compared with a 250mW red as well as a 5mW 473nm waterproof laser. The waterproof one is CW and it operates the opposite as the aquaries. It starts off bright and then dims as it warms up. Weird.

Woah, I've never seen a waterproof blue. What company did you purchase it from?

If CW was the name of the company, then I apologize. I'm not familiar with "CW"

Re: Aquaries 473nm 10mW

CW means constant wave. Like the PGL-III-473nm VS the aquaries which is pulsed. That is why if you wave the aquaries dot it will appear as ants marching/ coupon corners / snail trail....etc

Ah so it's a constant wave 473. Interesting. I've seen the effects that a pulsed 473 gives, kind of cool.

Where did you get the CW one from?

Re: Aquaries 473nm 10mW

Should I? I hadn't even considered it for some odd reason but now that you mention it I think I will. Let me get my Laserbee in first and then I will give it a good review.

Yeah I think you should. I'd be interested to see it.
