Well any laser above 1mW in Australia is pretty much totally illegal. But I'm not sure if it's effective for the whole of Australia, but in any cases I have seen the laser has been seized by customs.
i live in melbourne australia and i have a 50mw green laser pointer pen
its my only one, it got through customs earlier this year...
get someone you know in another country to bring you back a laser disguised as something else
do not use a box. stuff it near some other metal objects. this should confuse the x ray machines
PM if you want a laser built, I sold a 200mw laser lately to a guy in Tasmania, the review will be up soon. I will order the parts and build it in Australia, that way customs will not be an issue.
Uhm ..... as i have already said in some other posts .....
Is illegal, perhaps, to send ENTIRE POINTERS through your custom offices, but, as far as i know, NOT ILLEGAL to send modules, parts or spare parts .....
So, imho, the better, and overall LEGAL way, for have it sent to you, is to make 2 different shipments, one containing the laser module (or, if the module is pressfitted in the heatsink/head, this whole part) AND NO OTHER, and a second shipment, also better if made some days after, containing all the rest of the parts, both the shipments can be honestly marked as parts or spare parts (and it's not a lie, there is no assembled laser pointers in any of them and also, there are not enough parts in any single package for assemble a laser pointer, so you are NOT shipping a complete laser pointer in any of the single packages, regardless if assembled or not, and this, as far as i know, is still legal, right ?)
The disadvantage is that you need to pay 2 times the shipping fees, against the advantage to not have your package confiscated from the custom offices, and the undoubtly other advantage that, doing it so, you do absolutely nothing illegal .....
You're right, twice, and two other people told you too and you're still to stupid to figure it out. You've begged for rep too, for nothing. You've also posted that link in a few places. If you ask me you're a spammer spamming all the Australian threads for customers. In any event you obviously dont belong here. People keep giving you advice and all you do is ignore it in search for direct answers. We dont spoon feed here, you have to do your own homework. But I still think you're to stupid to even do that. And morons shouldnt be playing with high powered lasers.
So run along and go play with your little friends. You will never fit in here. People here know how to get high power lasers in Australia, they dont need your over priced, under powered crap lasers.
